Job Title: Certified Process Design Engineer

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Certified, experienced and technical subject matter expert to support the operation and maintenance in a Complex process and production facility in Oil and Gas industry
• The Process Design Engineer executes process integration, debottlenecking, and retrofit studies for onshore and offshore projects, as well as leads process feasibility and optimization consultancy projects.
• The individual provides project stages process support from conceptual, detailed design, HAZOP to fabrication.
• The Process Design Engineer also designs proprietary technology and sizing of any supporting equipment, such as pumps/instrumentation and produces design documentation, such as PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, and HMBs to enable compliance with industry specifications standards and procedures.
• The individual will serve as the focal point for clients’ accounts/projects and arrange technical meetings and workshops. An upstream oil and gas process design experience is required to be successful in this role.
• Provide Process Engineering design services for oil and gas processing facilities which include operational support, Front End Engineering Design and Detailed Design
• Simulation of process systems, development of PFDs and P&IDs and sizing of equipment
• Interpretation of industry standards (NORSOK, API etc) in the development of process and safety systems
• Produce, check and approve various documents
• Attend HAZOPS, SIL, HAZID and design reviews as the Responsible Person
• Responsible for producing cost-effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe
• Responsible for ensuring the produced work is to the required technical quality and complies with the appropriate procedures
• Responsible for the planning, organization and manhour/budget estimates
• Responsible for achieving the project completion within agreed budget and schedule
• Responsible for managing both internal (other discipline engineers such as instrument, structural, mechanical, electrical and piping), and external stakeholders (Offshore Personnel, client and suppliers) to ensure deliverables and time frames are met
• Manage design queries with other discipline engineers (instrument, structural, mechanical, electrical and piping) clients and vendors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Petroleum/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 20 years experience in upstream oil and gas process design of proprietary process systems for oil, gas, produced water treatment, and solids separation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent personal effectiveness with good organizational and time management skills (for allocation and review and approval of engineering man-hours)
• A good team player who can easily adjust to dynamic schedules.

• COREN certification is an added advantage

Job Title: Inspector – Fixed Equipment (Expatrate / National) – Grade 1 – 4

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Mechanical Integrity team. This team provides inspection services to all process equipment within the facility.
• Ensure the safe and reliable operating condition of fixed equipment through scheduled inspections and guidance on high quality repairs that meet corporate and code requirements.
• Report to the facility Mechanical Integrity Team Lead at the facility.
• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of required internal and external compliance inspections for tanks, vessels, columns, heat exchangers, piping and other plant assets at code and jurisdictional mandated intervals.
• Provide guidance on required equipment repairs to meet both corporate and code requirements.
• Implement and maintain equipment reliability plans and associated inspection methodology for assigned area.
• Provide updates to both when process conditions dictate, or inspection related updates are needed.
• Participate in design reviews for new construction and equipment to ensure it meets company and code requirements as well as Design for Reliability factors.
• Participate in turnaround inspection scope planning.
• During turnarounds, manage inspection requirements such as internal inspections, defining required repairs, and NDE scheduling and validation.
• Intermittent travel with possible nights and weekend work hours based on facility needs.
• Maintain inspection data, master equipment list, records, and recommendations in computer-based reliability data management applications (i.e. PCMS).

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of inspection in oil and gas
• Previous Experience in Inspection Database Management systems
• Previous Experience in JD Edwards CMMS
• 7 – 10 years of Inspection management experience

Job Description

• We are currently looking for a Engineer to join our work force in Nigeria. As Company Representative, he supervises the execution of the Engineering, Fabrication, Erection, Commissioning and start-up follow up for what concerns rotating machinery
• To follow-up Engineer’s activities related to Rotating Machinery and ensure compliance with Company/Project specifications and with the requirements of the project documentation.
• To manage technical evaluation of the bids and prepare technical recommendation with Head of Engineering.
• To follow-up procurement, construction, expediting, FAT for his discipline.
• To anticipate problems, offer solutions and inform Head of Engineering.
• To comment on Engineer’s documents and coordinate other Company specialists’ comments within allowed time.
• To liaise with other disciplines in order to ensure consistency of the work.
• To comment on contractor documents in due time.
• To review proposed deviations and give recommendation for project management approval.
• Organize weekly and/or monthly co-ordination meetings with Engineering Contractor as appropriate.
• Ensure Engineering Contractor provides proper reporting of the progress of his activities.
• Any other task that may be assigned by his/her hierarchy

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in design ofoil and gas production facilities with at least 10 years specifically in major rotating equipment engineering design and installation.
• Have at least 10 years experience in the detailed design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of multi-stage centrifugal pumps, compressors, and gas turbines.
• Thorough knowledge of onshore/offshore engineering construction methods including its practice and procedures.
• Knowledge of rotor, fluid, aero dynamics, and finite element analysis for rotating equipment is desirable.
• Computer literate, with proficiency in the use of MS suites including rotating equipment design spreadsheets.
• COREN Registered Engineer
• Relevant certification is an added advantage.
