Job Title: Multimedia Associate

Job Profile

  • The Multimedia Associate will be responsible for creating, managing, and editing high-quality video, photographic content and graphic design that supports the OPEC Fund’s branding, marketing and communication efforts.
  • This role demands a highly creative and technically skilled individual with professional experience in video production, photography and post-production.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong visual storytelling ability and be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, in accordance with the Communication Strategy, to ensure the Organization’s work is highly visible (internally and externally) via innovative and high-impact communication.

Duties and Responsibilities
Photography:

  • Capture high-quality images for campaigns, events and other corporate needs.
  • Direct photo shoots, including setting up lighting, selecting locations and guiding subjects to achieve the desired results.
  • Edit and retouch photos to meet the OPEC Fund’s standards for quality and aesthetics.

Video Production:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content for publication at OPEC Fund’s internal and external communication channels. Coverage includes high-level missions, projects and events, as well as staff engagements and interviews.
  • Handle all aspects of video production, including scripting, storyboarding, lighting, sound, editing and post-productions.
  • Ensure videos align with the OPEC Fund’s brand guidelines and effectively communicate key message.

Post-Production:

  • Edit photos and video footage, including color grading, sound design and employing effects and animation.
  • Deliver final photo and video content in the appropriate formats for various uses and platforms, such as social media, publications, intranet, presentations, events and other internal/external communications.

Graphic Design:

  • Create or adapt graphics for various applications and platforms, including social media, website, intranet and internal screens.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and teams to develop and execute visually compelling concepts.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in visual identity.

Content Management:

  • Maintain and organize a comprehensive library of multimedia assets, ensuring they are correctly tagged and archived for easy retrieval.
  • Ensure all content is backed up and stored securely.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with colleagues and other departments to understand their video and photography needs.
  • Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and collaborate on concept development.

Quality Control:

  • Review and ensure all video and photographic content meets the highest quality standards before release.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting as needed to resolve any issues during production or post-production.

Innovation:

  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in video production and photography, and incorporate new techniques and technologies.
  • Suggest new ideas and creative approaches to enhance the visual impact of the OPEC Fund’s video and photo content.

Reporting:

  • Obtain quotes and offers for new products or service, presents comparison reports and recommends best options.
  • Use data and insights to produce clear performance reports and reviews, and translates these into improvement plans.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent advanced diploma, in Media Technology, Photography, Communication, or related studies.
  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant professional experience.
  • Experience within a fast-moving communications agency or corporate team, and supporting projects from concept to final delivery is required.
  • Proven experience in video production, photography, and graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in all three areas.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).

Job Profile

  • The Chief Auditor provides strategic guidance to the Internal Audit Function by providing independent, objective, and insightful risk-based assurance and advice to senior management and the audit and risk committee, all in accordance with the institutional strategy and framework and the OPEC Fund’s frameworks for governance, on the design and effectivness of risk management and internal control frameworks, in order to protect and enhance the value of OPEC Fund and its operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
Functional strategy formation & implementation:

  • Provides strategic guidance and oversees the Internal Audit Unit.
  • Develops and directs the implementation of an annual risk-based audit workplan for final approval by the Governing Board.
  • Ensures Internal Audit achieves established objectives and fulfills its mandate in alignment with OPEC Fund’s overall strategic direction and the Internal Audit Charter.

Audit management:

  • Oversees the quality of work and timely delivery of Internal Audit workplan by supervising audit engagements, reviewing and approving audit reports, and confirming engagement workpapers adequately support findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Maintains a recommendations’ tracking system which is used to monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and management action plans.
  • Supports and advises the governing bodies and Senior Management in the execution of their duties through advisory services.
  • Regularly updates Internal Audit Charter and Internal Audit Manual and its supporting methodologies to guide Internal Audit staff in performing audit services.

Leadership and staff supervision:

  • Creates and leads multi-disciplinary audit teams and ensure the overall quality of its work.
  • Manages the performance of audit teams and individual auditors providing clear direction and regular monitoring and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to audit teams and individual auditors and ensure their continuous learning and professional development in internal audit and emerging risks, topics, and leading technologies.
  • Anticipates requirements for and efficiently manages the budget, resource allocation and utilization for the Unit.

Stakeholder management and engagement / Board relationship:

  • As member of the Senior Management team, interacts with the members of the OPEC Fund Board and actively participates in the Governing Board Meetings, as well as chairing/ participating in related committees/ meetings
  • Builds and maintains relationships with the OPEC Fund’s Audit and Risk Committee, President and Management.
  • Ensures cooperation and coordination with the Fund’s External Auditors.

Reporting:

  • Leads regular reporting to the President and Audit and Risk Committee the activities of the Internal Audit function, including summaries of recent audits and implementation progress of audit recommendations.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the President and Audit and Risk Committee.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s Degree in business administration, finance, controlling, accounting, law, or a (closely) related field.
  • Certified Internal Auditor from internationally- recognized Institute of Internal Auditors.
  • Other related professional certifications e.g. Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager, Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, ACCA.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressively relevant experience and 5 of which at management level.
  • Preferably, five years of experience in an international environment, preferably in development financial institutions.
  • Fluent in English. Good working knowledge of Arabic, French, German or Spanish is an added advantage.

Functional strategy formation:

Job Profile

  • The OPEC Fund offers an Internship Program enabling students from diverse academic backgrounds to experience work with an international organization. The Internship Program runs for between three and six months and is designed to:
    • Provide a framework to support students assigned to any OPEC Fund department so that the focus remains on enriching the student’s experience;
    • Provide an immersive experience so that students gain practical experience of working for an international organization; and
    • Provide the opportunity for students to understand the OPEC Fund’s vision, mission and related values.
  • Interns are assigned to different departments/units depending on their interests and qualifications, and according to departmental needs.
  • The Internship Program offers opportunities to focus on one or more of the following: public sector operations; private sector and trade finance operations; financial operations; risk management; strategic planning and economic services; internal audit; human resources; administration; communication; legal services; and information technology.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants must be between 19 to 25 years of age and enrolled in an undergraduate program (having completed at least two years) or graduate program.
