We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Personnel

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

  • A male I.T Personnel not older than 35 years

Technical Skills:

  • Networking: Understanding LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN,IPv4, IPv6, VLANs, and subnetting.
  • Fiber Optics & Cabling: Fiber splicing, GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Networks), and structured cabling.
  • Wireless Technologies: Wi-Fi standards (802.11ac/ax), microwave links, and radio frequency (RF) principles.
  • PPPoE & VLANs: Configuring subscriber authentication and VLAN segmentation.
  • Remote Support & Diagnostics: Using SSH, Telnet, RDP, and other remote management tools.
  • Billing & CRM Systems: Knowledge of ISP billing platforms like WHMCS and Radius servers.
  • IT Support & Troubleshooting: Hardware and software troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and remote support tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: Quick troubleshooting of network outages and customer issues.
  • Communication: Explaining technical issues to customers and non-technical teams.
  • Time Management: Handling multiple service requests efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Patience and professionalism in assisting users with connectivity issues.
  • Adaptability: Learning and implementing new network technologies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with field technicians, engineers, and NOC teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate network configurations and IP assignments.
  • Crisis Management: Handling network downtime and security breaches under pressure.

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts with 1 – 3 years of experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Financial Accounting – Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and financial statements.
  • Bookkeeping – Managing general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR) – Processing invoices, payments, and collections.

Qulaifications

  • Candidates should possess an HND, B.Sc or B.Tech with 3 – 10 years work experience.
  • An Adult male not older than 35 years.

Requirements / Skills:

  • TCP/IP Fundamentals: Understanding IPv4, IPv6, subnetting, and routing.
  • Wireless Networking: Experience with 802.11 standards, point-to-point (PTP), and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) networks.
  • Fiber Optics & Cable Management: Fiber splicing, FTTH (Fiber to the Home), GPON, and structured cabling.
  • MikroTik, Cisco, & Juniper: Configuring routers and switches.
  • Network Monitoring Tools: Using Nagios, PRTG, or the Dude.
  • VoIP & Telephony: Setting up and troubleshooting SIP, PBX systems, and VoIP configurations.
  • Diagnosing Network Issues: Using traceroute, ping, and other diagnostics tools.
  • Hardware Installation & Configuration: Setting up antennas, access points, routers, and switches.
  • Service Deployment: Installing and configuring broadband, fiber, and wireless connections for customers.
  • Remote Support Tools: Using SSH, TeamViewer, RDP, and other remote troubleshooting methods.
