A prominent player in the Nigerian industry, the company’s operations span across the downstream value chain i.e. Petroleum Product Storage, Haulage/Distribution and Retail Sales. Our primary products include Petrol (PMS), Diesel (AGO) and Kerosene (DPK).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Risk & Compliance Officer

Location: Nigeria
Job Schedule: Full time

Description

  • Ability to develop & implement the enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Ability to align standard operating procedures/business process with strategic objectives.
  • Ability to deliver regular analysis reports to management & Board
  • Ability to monitor the FX & credit position regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, credit, market, and compliance risks.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards and update policies accordingly.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement risk management and compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
  • Provide regular reports on risk exposure, compliance status, and mitigation plans to senior management and the Board.
  • Strengthen internal control systems to prevent fraud, misconduct, and regulatory breaches.
  • Lead and oversee investigations into compliance violations and risk incidents.
  • Conduct risk and compliance training to promote awareness and adherence.
  • Foster a risk-aware culture across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of second-class upper bachelor’s degree in accounting, Audit, Economics or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Internal Audit/Control or Risk & compliance from Oil & Gas/Banking or Insurance.
  • The candidate should be ACA/ACCA qualified.

Job Title: Marine Operations Executive / Officer

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient vessel and agency operations, managing port activities, and ensuring strict compliance with maritime regulations.

Responsibilities
Vessel Operations:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient vessel movements, scheduling, and berthing.
  • Monitor and coordinate loading and unloading of cargo.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to international and local maritime regulations.
  • Maintain documentation required for port and customs authorities.
  • Stay updated on changes in maritime laws and policies.

Crew Management:

  • Oversee crew deployment, welfare, and training.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and maritime safety regulations.
  • Monitor crew certifications and licensing.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management:

  • Coordinate fuel, spare parts, and provisions for vessels.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Optimize costs while ensuring operational efficiency.

Safety & Security:

  • Implement and enforce safety measures on board vessels.
  • Conduct risk assessments and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Ensure compliance with ISM (International Safety Management) regulations.

Port & Terminal Coordination:

  • Liaise with port authorities, shipping agencies, and customs officials.
  • Arrange for pilots, tugboats, and other port-related services.
  • Handle berthing and departure formalities.

Technical & Maintenance Support:

  • Ensure vessels are maintained and comply with industry standards.
  • Work with technical teams for repairs and maintenance scheduling.
  • Monitor fuel efficiency and vessel performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of second class (upper division) Bachelor’s degree in Maritime transport management or any related course.
  • Minimum of 3 years cognate experience.
  • Knowledge of Shipping agency and marine operations.

Job Title: LPG Plant Supervisor 

Locations: Cross River and Delta

Job Summary

  • The candidate is responsible for overseeing the managing, operating and safety of the company’s Gas plant.

Key Duties

  • Manages all Gas Plant operations as well as staff-related matters.
  • Maintains excellent standards in all operational activity, driving sales and profitability through the effective deployment and development of LPG cashier and operators in line with approved budgets.
  • Ensures that the due process is carried out in the discharge of products and puts in various controls to minimise fraud.
  • Facilitates daily stock requests from the LPG terminal.
  • Implement measures to ensure seamless and safe receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of products in the plant.
  • Facilitate regular facility inspection and maintain high standard HSE and implement maintenance controls/measures.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, consumer preference to guide Rainoil LPG offering accordingly.
  • Report on LPG sales / financial results to LPG Coordinator.
  • Monitors and evaluates plant operational and marketing results and develops interventions to promote business development and growth.
  • Evaluation of daily sales of LPG and lodgements
  • Compiles and analyses periodic sales records and consolidates such reports to the LPG Coordinator.
  • Manage all technical aspects of operations of the LPG plant including the storage facility.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Second-Class Upper (B.Sc) and HND Upper Credit in Engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 1-4 years’ experience.
  • Honesty, commitment, hardworking and self-motivation.
