The Schwarzman Scholars Program is a fully funded opportunity to pursue studies in China. Applications are now open for the Schwarzman Scholars Program 2026/27 at Tsinghua University. This program provides a one-year Master’s degree at Tsinghua University, located in Beijing. The scholarship is available to applicants from all nationalities. Every year, approximately 150 to 200 students from across the globe are selected to study under this program.
The initiative was established by Stephen A. Schwarzman, an American philanthropist. There is no fee to apply, and IELTS is not mandatory—exemptions are possible. Classes will commence in August 2026. The Schwarzman Program is among the most prestigious global scholarships, comparable to Rhodes and Chevening.
