Job Title: Head of Sales

Role Overview
- Your mission is to build and lead a world-class sales team from scratch, relentlessly focusing on growing the number of businesses using the Kuda Business platform.
- The Head of Sales is a vital sales leadership role at Kuda Microfinance Bank. You will play a central role in developing Kuda’s commercial footprint in Nigeria.
- Based out of Lagos, you will help grow our customer base in the territory by coordinating prospecting efforts into target industries and verticals.
- Leading from the front, you will build a high-performing team, coach and mentor them to success, localize the sales playbook, and drive growth in your assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Communicating effectively the value proposition by focusing on a solution-based sales process
- Contacting prospective customers from a defined territory/vertical to discuss Kuda’s business product
- Build a sales team from scratch, setting KPIs & financial targets designed to scale at speed
- Managing DSAs’ sales funnels to ensure maximum performance on the following:
- Identifying potential new clients through a variety of mediums and identifying their decision makers
- Identifying, managing & executing on the client journey through the sales funnel
- Leading a team of 2-3 Sales Executives and a minimum of 10 DSAs (Direct Sales Agents), owning all aspects of performance & development
- Championing your product and market knowledge to promote Kuda’s offering.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in sales or business development
- 2+ years experience as a high performing Team Leader, Head of Sales, Head of Business Development or Country Manager
- Experience with SMEs, preferably with a track record of sales to this segment
- Successfully built or scaled sales departments in a high growth environment catered to SMEs
- Experience in managing a team, setting compensation and performance-based metrics
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior sales staff
- Experience with both inbound and outbound (telesales).
Advantageous:
- Experience in FMCG or Finance sectors
- Growth Marketing experience
- Degree in Finance/Business related subject
- Strong knowledge of and interest in technology and financial services; prior experience working in fintech or digital payments a plus.

- Kuda is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our growing BI & Analytics team.
- We are looking for someone who can work with large datasets, leverage their expertise in data analysis and deliver actionable insights across various business functions.
- You will play a critical role in helping to shape data-driven decisions around attribution optimisation, product performance, experimentation and user engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, own and champion how we leverage data from our tech stack.
- Analyze, and where required build, datasets that enable better understanding of company KPIs, marketing performance and user engagement.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Looker.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention, referral, segmentation and revenue across multiple channels. Understand trends, correlations and identify opportunities to move these key user growth metrics.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling to support strategic initiatives.
- Ensure the accuracy and relevance of key performance indicators (KPIs) across different functions.
- Design and analyze experiments to improve user acquisition, product adoption, and spend efficiency of marketing campaigns.
- Be comfortable with cross-functional collaboration and delivery.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of working experience as a data analyst.
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that impact business outcomes.

- Possess strong knowledge of mobile app growth metrics (LTV, CR%, Churn)
- Understanding of versioning control (ie. Git, BitBucket or other similar technologies)
- Experience with data modeling (ie. dbt)
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members.

- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Auditor to join our team on a 12 months maternity cover contract. - Track and follow up on audit findings to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Support the CAE and senior management with periodic reports on audit activities and key risks
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, automation, and governance.
- Provide advisory support on new products, system changes, and business expansions from a risk and controls perspective.
- Assist in developing and updating audit programs, task trackers, work papers, e.t.c

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Accounting, or a related field.
- 0-3 years experience in an Internal Audit role

- Create and maintain relationships with agents, aggregators, and merchants to ensure long-term engagement.
Management and Training:
- Manage and oversee a team of over 20 field agents and business development executives.
- Develop and deliver training programs for BDEs, merchant agents, and other team members to ensure a deep understanding of KudaPOS and its benefits.
- Conduct induction training and provide ongoing support to team members.
Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Drive awareness and educate merchants and customers on the features and benefits of KudaPOS.
- Ensure merchants attract customers to use KudaPOS by providing strategic guidance and support.
- Collaborate with merchants to identify pain points and offer tailored solutions.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Set sales targets and develop strategies to meet and exceed them.
- Provide weekly performance reports and market insights to management.
- Track team performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Market Development and Strategy:
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with agents, aggregators, and merchants.
- Leverage networking opportunities to create new business partnerships and onboard additional agents/merchants.
