Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Nigeria

Working conditions: (4 days weekly: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday)
Job Description
- We are seeking a reliable and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, operations, and safety of our facility.
- The ideal candidate will ensure that the premises are well-maintained, operationally efficient, and compliant with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the facility, including cleaning, maintenance, and security.
- Manage building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Oversee third-party contractors and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and local regulations.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Prepare budgets and monitor expenses for facility management.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and issues.
- Develop and implement facility policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective space planning and utilization.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in facility management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to respond quickly to urgent situations.
- Experience managing residential estates, corporate offices, or industrial facilities.
Salary
N120,000 / Month.

Responsibilities

- Payroll Management
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of periodic management reports at the organization to aid management decision-making.
- Ensure ongoing review, update, and documentation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial forecasts, and ratio analysis.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with the company’s
- accounting policies and FIRS.
- Compute taxes and prepare returns, manage balance sheet and profit/loss statements. Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
- Ensure that the company’s policies with respect to accounting for fixed assets are adhered to at all times.
- Manage and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including local and international tax authorities, tax consultants, etc.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable for completed and ongoing projects.
Requirements
Professional / Academic Qualifications:
- Relevant professional certification for Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or its equivalent is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, (Accounting, Banking and finance.)
Experience / Knowledge:
- Knowledge of applicable accounting software
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or banking and finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Interpersonal Skills:
- Results-orientated and pragmatic with exceptional quantitative and analytical ability and attention to detail
- Independent thinker and worker who can juggle multiple projects simultaneously with fast- changing priorities
