We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Rivers, Nigeria
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Translating client requirements into detailed engineering designs.
  • Ensure that what is designed is efficient and safe to operate.
  • Contributing to the successful completion of projects within budget and schedule.

Core Responsibilities
Process Design and Development:

  • Developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Performing process simulations and calculations using software like Aspen HYSYS.
  • Sizing and specifying process equipment (e.g., vessels, pumps, heat exchangers).
  • Developing Heat and Material Balances (HMBs).

Safety and Risk Assessment:

  • Participating in Hazard Identification (HAZID) and Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies.
  • Contributing to Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Technical Documentation:

  • Preparing design basis documents, technical specifications, and operating manuals.
  • Generating reports and presentations to communicate design concepts and results.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Working closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g., piping, instrumentation, electrical).
  • Interacting with vendors and suppliers to evaluate equipment and ensure compliance.
  • Communicating with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support.

Process Optimization:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Troubleshooting operational problems and providing solutions.
  • Contributing to commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensuring that all designs and operations adhere to relevant environmental and industry regulations.
  • In the context of EPC projects:
  • Translating client requirements into detailed engineering designs.
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Supervise subcontractor’s process team to make sure that their output is fit for purpose, cost effective and easy to construct
  • Review of vendor’s process deliverables.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • A Master’s degree (M.Sc.) will be an added advantage
  • Registered engineer with COREN is mandatory
  • A minimum of 7-10+ years of relevant experience is commonly expected.
  • Significant experience in the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry is crucial.
  • Experience in pipelines, gas processing design and engineering is highly valued.
  • Experience working on various project phases, including conceptual studies, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), and detailed design, is important.
  • Experience with both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • EPC Experience:
    • Proven experience working within an EPC environment.

Job Title: Interface Coordinator

Job Summary

  • To support the implementation of the Interface Management System and processes to deliver a robust and effective interface management within the project.
  • To lead the execution of interface agreements throughout the interface agreement lifecycle and facilitate, monitor and report on the effectiveness of Interface Agreement process with internal and external stakeholders to ensure and assure effective and efficient application of interface agreement management practices in support of project milestones.

Core/Technical:

  • Execution and management of the interface management system and process within the project.
  • Prepare and report of the effectiveness of the Interface Agreement process performance and suggest and implement improvements.
  • “Right size” the application of the interface agreement process as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the project technical interface database, factual reporting Interface Agreement status and actions to deliver and communicate to management as appropriate.
  • Lead and contribute in and Interface Agreement Workshops on the interface agreement process with Company and Contractor to ensure compliance.
  • Manage and update the Interface Tracking Database, recording correspondence with internal and external parties and is managed to conclusion.
  • Develop guidelines, processes and procedures necessary to support and control the Interface Agreement process for project(s).
  • Manage information related to the interface agreement required to develop commercial agreements and similar.
  • Plan the interface work based upon project milestones and objectives.
  • Contribute to COMPANY Lessons Learned process.
  • Organize meeting for the internal and external Interface Management activities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Engineering (B. Eng)
  • Professional HR certification; NSE, COREN, PMP
  • 8 years’ experience in a major projects environment and/or operations and maintenance of hydrocarbon processing facilities, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Interface Agreement Management System, Process & Execution.

Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Lead

  • Lead and Manage the Project Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department.
  • Be responsible for the development, management, implementation, operation, monitoring and review of the project HSE management system, with the goal of achieving work activities without incident, harm to personnel or damage to property or the environment

  • Coach and mentor the HSE personneland other directreport to ensure professionalism and the company’s core values are maintained.
  • Provide advice and support to Project team on issues relating to occupational health and safety.
  • Support implementation of HSE policies, procedures, standard etc at the project
  • Delegate appropriate responsibility as maybe required whilst retaining overall accountability. Core/Technical
  • To ensure all project HSE deliverables (HSE plan, JHA, Budget, and Procedures etc.) are developed and approved by client.
  • Liaise with ProjectManager and Clienton all project HSE matters.
  • Ensure staff and subcontractors are medically fit prior to commencement of works.
  • Ensure implementation of company Health, safety, environmental and waste management policies and plans.
  • Ensure development and implementation of Project HSE training plan, to guaranteeproject HSE competencies.
  • Ensure project incidents are promptly reportedto the Client, investigated, improvement recommendations promptly closed out and lessons shared.
  • Initiate and participate in all projectrisk assessments and HSE workshops, maintain register of all actionsarising from the workshops and ensure results are implemented as work is executed.
  • Develop project emergency response procedures and implement measuresto promote improvements.
  • Attend Client and Oilserv meetings, as required.
  • Lead HSE assessment team for the selection of Sub-contractors.
  • Ensure project HSE Auditsare conducted in line with Project HSE Audit Plan and corrective actions promptly implemented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC
  • ISO Certificates
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • 10+ Oil and gas field HSE experience, with at least 6 years in HSE (Majorprojects) management function.

  • Ensures the executed site civil works conforms to the project specification and align with/meet Client/owners site PMT/C expectations & satisfaction.
  • Assist in preparing the Bill of engineering measurement & evaluation (BEME) for OSL internal works and services for Civil Lead review and approval.
  • Develop execution strategies, quality and implementation of site civil challenges and report to civil lead for alignment.
  • Ensure all workers under supervision comply with project QHSE SOPs & guidelines.
  • Carry out any other assigned responsibilities by the project civil Lead/CSM/DPM as need arises.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Engr.)
  • Professional Certs:  NSE, COREN
  • 5-10 years in Civil Engineering Practice with a minimum of 3years in Oil & Gas industry.
