Job Title: Slickline Supervisor (Upstream Oil and Gas)
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- We’re seeking experienced Slickline Supervisors to oversee slickline operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective execution in compliance with client and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise slickline operations at client locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to slickline crews and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
- Interface with clients to ensure job requirements and expectations are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and pre-job safety meetings.
- Ensure proper documentation of job activities, including job tickets, reports, and daily logs.
- Supervise rig-up/rig-down activities and equipment maintenance.
- Troubleshoot field issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor Degree / HND
- Minimum 8 years hands-on experience in Slickline Operations.
- In-depth knowledge of slickline equipment and tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.
- Good understanding of HSE practices in oil and gas field operations.

- Successful candidates will join a high-performing team dedicated to safe, efficient, and cost-effective well operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate slickline units and pressure control equipment during well interventions.
- Assist in pre-job planning, equipment loading, and job execution.
- Monitor well conditions and ensure proper tool deployment.
- Maintain detailed records of operations, tools used, and job results.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Comply with all HSE policies and procedures during operations.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor Degree / HND
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience in slickline operations within the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Proficient in operating slickline units and handling pressure control equipment.
- Understanding of well intervention techniques and downhole tools.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
