Job Description

  • As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing the customer financial experience by developing, testing, launching, and scaling financial products.
  • Leveraging a data-driven approach, you will conduct experimentation, user behavioral analysis, sophisticated statistical modelling, and dashboard development to uncover insights that drive adoption, engagement, and retention.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you can expect to:

  • Develop and maintain accurate sales reports to monitor performance.
  • Leverage forecasting models to predict sales trends and optimize business strategies.
  • Implement automated processes to streamline data workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Convey findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Address analytical challenges with innovative solutions to improve business efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong pulse on performance metrics and KPIs, providing insights into business, product, and member trends.

  • Lead experimentation by mentoring teams on best practices, defining success metrics and data requirements, evaluating impact, and setting strategic direction.
  • Provide guidance on roadmap development, metric ideation, and strategic discussions with stakeholders to ensure data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with analysts and cross-functional teams to bridge business questions with technical data solutions, ensuring informed decision-making.

Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science; Mathematics, Analytics, Statistics or in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data-focused roles (post-internship), building analytical infrastructure and data tools to support a broad audience and facilitate strategic trade-off decisions, with preferred expertise in B2C product analytics and FinTech.
  • Expertise in SQL, seamlessly translating business questions into queries, understanding edge cases of joins, and efficiently exploring data warehouses to identify the most relevant data for problem-solving.
  • Extensive experience leading experimentation, statistical analysis, and sophisticated measurement techniques (e.g., causal inference) end-to-end to drive informed decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools, including Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI, ensuring clear and actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to develop metric frameworks that effectively capture and analyze user behavior to enhance business strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a holistic approach to tackling business challenges and navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and drive impactful outcomes.
  • Results-driven mindset, ensuring recommendations lead to tangible business improvements and lasting change.
  • Ability to solve complex analytical challenges and implement automation strategies.

Job Function

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the delivery of related Sales products

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and make sound independent decisions.

  • Identify and pursue leads through online channels, industry events, referrals, and partnerships.
  • Create compelling marketing and sales materials showcasing the benefits of Payzeep’s payment gateway platform.

Onboarding and Activation:

  • Design and implement a seamless onboarding process for new merchants, ensuring a positive first experience and rapid activation.
