Job Title: Feedmill Supervisor

Job Summary

• The Feed mill supervisors play a key role in ensuring a successful operation in feed production and the development and production of high-quality feed products for Runo Feed.
• This position requires a strong understanding of animal nutrition principles, Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP) and Standard Operating Procedure in Commercial feed production and a commitment to high quality feed products.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire feed production process from raw material intake to final product packaging.
• Ensure smooth workflow, optimal use of equipment and adherence to production schedules.
• Supervise feed mill workers and operators.
• Schedule shifts, assign duties, and ensure team productivity.
• Train new employees on safety procedures and production techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Animal Science/Animal Production Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in animal feed production, preferably in the poultry or livestock industry.
• In-depth knowledge feeds manufacturing principles and requirements for various livestock species and life stages.
• Understanding of feed processing methods and their impact on nutrient availability and digestibility.
• Ability to interpret laboratory analysis of feed ingredients and finished products.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent team player and coordination skills

Job Title: Feedmill Machine Operator

Location: Asaba, Delta

Job Summary

• To operate and monitor the feed mill machinery to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality animal feed.
• This role includes conducting routine equipment checks, managing raw material input, monitoring process parameters, and reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance or supervisory personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, the feed mill machines such as mixers, grinders, pellet mills, and conveyors.
• Perform basic start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures.
• Load and monitor raw materials into the system.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and escalate technical issues to maintenance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and QC teams for quality assurance.

Requirements

• SSCE or equivalent (required).
• Technical training in feed production or mechanical systems (preferred).
• 1 – 3 years of experience operating automated machinery (experience in feed mills is a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 25kg and work on feet for extended hours.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

Job Title: Quality Assurance / Control Laboratory Assistant

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for supporting daily laboratory operations by collecting, preparing and labeling of raw materials and finished feed samples, as well as maintaining laboratory hygiene and records.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect feed ingredients and product samples at various stages of production.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of all samples for traceability.
• Store and record retained samples for future testing or verification.
• Monitor raw materials for contaminants and report deviations to the QC officer.
• Maintain proper records of test results, deviations and batch numbers.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE with relative experience / ND in Animal Production, Food Science, or related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in a feed mill working in a related QA/QC role is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of feed ingredients, nutrient standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiar with feed laboratory instruments and procedures.
• Attention to detail, good record-keeping, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills.

Job Title: Production Associate

Job Summary

• The Production Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of feed production in a commercial feed mill environment.
• This includes the operation of feed manufacturing equipment, quality control checks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• The associate plays a critical role in maintaining consistent product quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow daily production schedules and batching instructions to meet production targets.
• Weigh and measure raw materials according to formulas and feed specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage areas, and equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of a First School Leaving Certificate or equivalent, SSCE / High School Diploma; OND preferred.
• Prior experience in a feed mill, food production, or similar manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail/Basic math and reading skills.
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Title: Feedmill Foreman

Location: Asaba, Delta

Job Summary

• The Feed Mill Foreman plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, traceability, and efficiency of feed production by managing the accurate handling and documentation of premix requisition, usage, and mixing operations.
• This role is primarily responsible for coordinating the timely requisition of premixes from the Feed Mill Supervisor based on the production plan, verifying that the correct type and quantity of premix is received, and ensuring its proper incorporation into the mixer.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise timely and accurate premix requisition duly signed by the Feed Mill Supervisor based on daily production schedules and formulation needs.
• Verify that received premixes match the requisition in terms of type, quantity, and batch number.
• Timely release of premix/micro-ingredients into the mixer at the correct stage of the batching process to ensure uniform blending.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply and dispatch of materials.

Requirements

• Minimum of an OND in Mechanical Engineering, Animal Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a feedmill or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of feedmill machines and production processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
