What You’ll Do:
As a Graduate Trainee, your main job will be to help people learn about and get loans. You’ll talk to people on the telephone and online to tell them about the different kinds of loans the company offers, especially for people who work for the government, like teachers and police officers. You’ll use the telephone a lot to call people and tell them about these loans.
Your daily job will involve finding people who might want a loan, making friends with the important people who decide if they’ll get a loan, and showing them how the loan works. You’ll also be making lots of calls – these are called outbound calls. Sometimes you’ll use the internet, which is called digital marketing, and sometimes you’ll just use the telephone, which is called telephone marketing.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- You’ll make outbound calls to people who might want to borrow money. Making lots of outbound calls will be a big part of your day. You need to be good at talking to people on outbound calls.
- You’ll find new people who might need a loan and see if there are chances for the company to get more business. Finding these new chances is a big deal for getting more loans out there.
- You’ll make friends and keep good relationships with people who are already customers and new people too. It’s important to have good relationships so people will want to get loans from this company.
- You’ll explain how the different loan options work, answer any questions people have, and help them find the best loan for them. You need to be able to explain the loan stuff clearly.
- You’ll try to meet goals for how many loans you help people get each day, week, and month. Meeting these goals for loans is how the company knows you’re doing a good job.
What You Need:
- You need to have a college degree in something like business. Having a special extra degree called an MBA is even better!
- You should have some experience working after you finished your NYSC (that’s a special program in Nigeria), even if it’s just for a little while (0-2 years).
- It would be great if you’ve been really good at selling things to people who work for the government before. If you’ve sold things to the public sector and did well, that’s a big plus!
- You need to be good at talking to customers and keeping them happy. Having strong customer relationship skills is important when talking about loans.
How Much You’ll Get Paid:
You’ll get between N100,000 and N130,000 each month. That’s how much money you’ll earn for helping people get loans.
