Job Title: Capacity Planning Engineer

Purpose of the Job
- The purpose of the role is to ensure that the network capacity across all the technologies (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) is designed to support current and forecasted traffic.
- Also, maintaining an accurate database of radio access resources at all times and managing network capacity using innovative and automated processes to guarantee consistency and data reliability.
Responsibilities
Design & Monitor UTRAN Interfaces:
- Design the UTRAN interfaces based on traffic forecast
- Monitor the traffic trend and ensure to keep system within the target utilization threshold
- Recommend cost effective solutions
Capacity Planning:
- Follow up with core network and transport planning to ensure end-to-end capacity planning is maintained
- Ensure that utilization of all the technology layers is efficiently managed.
- Understand the HW and SW capabilities of the telecom equipment.
- Carry out capacity plan for special events and sudden traffic increase.
Technology evolution:
- Ensure balanced traffic loading between different technologies
- Plan and design future-proof solutions.
- Apply insights from geo-location platform, Facebook and other sources to proactively forecast and plan network capacity.
- Maintain the HW and SW roadmaps tracker and ensure that capacity enhancement features are sourced and deployed at the right time.
Educational Qualifications
- University Degree in Electronic / Electrical, Computer or Telecommunication Engineering
- Proven professional training in Telecommunications sector
Relevant Experience:
- 5 years of experience in 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G Radio Engineering
- Experience in automation is an added advantage
- Excellent in using excel and other Microsoft applications
- Hands-on experience operating performance management tools and dimensioning tools.

Responsibilities
Effectively manage distribution of KYC terminals in assigned zone while also ensuring improvements in count of active terminals and productivity:
- Accountable for KYC kits which are company assets and ensuring these assets are optimized via improvement in % of active kits and daily productivity.
- Monitor and improve the KYC process in the zone with the aim of reducing Repair TAT.
- Manage and maintain the KYC kits in collaboration with the ASMs, ensuring minimal downtime, due to spares unavailability or software defects.
- Optimizing all the key performance indices, including kit productivity, activity and compliance.
Implementation of Trade Strategy:
- Delivering the trade Marketing Strategy by determining merchandising requirements in the region and ensuring availability through each channel-trade, shops, CPs, street corner, shops etc.to achieve picture of success
- Monthly Zonal Trade Marketing Execution Report to enable learning and replication of best practice across business areas.
Providing Brand Visibility:
- Responsible for trade visibility measurement and tracking across the zone.
- Drive visibility during sponsorships and events in the zones to ensure TOMA and ITR for both brand and products to drive decrement.
- Work with the Regional Marketing Manager to create and drive visibility through promotional activations in the zones.
Activations and Trade Compliance:
- Work with sales team to achieve coverage marketing and BTS site activations.
- Ensure showrooms are compliant to the shop guidelines at each point.
Effectively manage customers in assigned zone with view to reducing churn:
- Work with the product development team to design products and services suited to the immediate local environment
Reporting and Analysis:
- Responsible for preparing reports and analysis as required by the region or respective zones.
- Collate and turn raw data to insights and actions for execution on field to drive business growth.
Project management:
- Coordinate and manage projects within the zones
- Ensure project goals are delivered on time in full and accurately. Where there are deviations, escalate same to RMM or/and ZBM for resolution
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
- 1st Degree in Engineering, social or pure science.
- A second degree in business management or marketing will be an added advantage
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing activations and channel branding from agency or FMCG industry.
- Excellent command of English language.
- Excellent organizational, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point.

Network Coverage & Quality:
- Network Optimization
- New Sites ROI and deployment
- Follow through with ZTOs in delivering cell availability, quality of calls and reduction of outages at sites within state
Deliver Showroom Experience:
- Identify and formulate Customer Service Delivery Strategies to help improve customer satisfaction scores
- Ensure provision of standard Infrastructure at state showrooms
- Ensure showroom employees are up skilled in industry training and certifications for the role
Achieve Employee Engagement Scores in line with the Engagement Target for the State Business Area:
- Continuously motivate the front-line employees through leadership by examples
- Implement all action plans that will address hygiene issues etc. from engagement survey
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related Social Sciences
- Master’s in Business Administration would be preferred additional qualification
Relevant Experience:
- 10+ years of varied experience in Sales & Marketing with at least 2 years at middle management level handling independent businesses

- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Review and finalize statutory financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, and Notes to Accounts).
- Release accounting guidelines/clarifications in response to evolving IFRS standards, CBN directives, and group reporting needs.
- Act as custodian of the Chart of Accounts and Financial Delegation of Authority (FDoA).
Regulatory Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure strict compliance with internal control frameworks, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with statutory, tax, and internal auditors to ensure successful and timely closure of audits.
- Guarantee timely filing of all statutory obligations, including VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE, and other direct/indirect tax submissions.
- Drive cross-functional compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria and other regulators’ directives.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Support the CFO in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models.
- Conduct variance analysis, profitability assessments, sensitivity testing, and scenario planning.
- Provide management with insightful financial reports and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Analyze trial balances, aging reports, impairment reviews, and working capital positions.
Accounting Operations & Systems:
- Oversee the bookkeeping function across accounts payable, receivable, fixed assets, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of financial data within the general ledger.
- Implement best-in-class accounting systems (Flexcube/Oracle) and ensure alignment with group IT/Finance architecture.
- Safeguard company financial information, ensuring robust data security and business continuity processes.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team to achieve professional excellence.
- Build cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective delivery of finance-related services.
- Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the Finance function.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related discipline.
- ACA/CPA/CFA will be an advantage.
Relevant Experience:
- 13–18 years of progressive experience in finance roles within banking, payments, or financial services.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior FINCON role in a CBN-regulated bank (mandatory).
- Strong track record in financial reporting, compliance, audit management, and team leadership.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, CBN guidelines, and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Expertise in Flexcube Banking / Oracle Accounting systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
