Givanas Cosmetics Nigeria Limited, a manufacturing company, is recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Nigeria

Main Purpose of Job

  • Conduct market research to identify suppliers who can meet the GC quality standard and negotiate long term call off agreements and to source potential suppliers.
  • Manage the contract tender process of various procurements of goods, services or work projects. This will include; sourcing of suppliers, creation of input and agreement of specification, preparation of tender documentation, liaison and coordination with suppliers to clarify requirements, coordination and evaluation of bids, seek appropriate approval, direct negotiation, agreement of contracts, management and closure for the GV.
  • Other procurement tasks as directed by line management.
  • To ensure the procurement process is undertaken in line with company policies and principles. To support the Head of Supply Chain, senior leadership at post and across the network, to achieve financial compliance and integrity.

Roles and Responsibilities
Delivering a Quality Service (Customer Focus) – 35%

  • Carry out procurement function for Givanas Cosmetics
  • Ensure internal control procedures are followed
  • Support Budget Monitors for payments
  • Create requisitions for goods and services from agreed supplier list
  • Work with the Contract Manager & Procurement Hub/CPG on contracts
  • To ensure the procurement process is undertaken in line with company policies and principles. To support the Head of Supply Chain, senior leadership at post and across the network, to achieve financial compliance and integrity.

Collaborating and Partnering (Working with Others) – 20%:

  • Responsible for procurement at the GC liaising with stakeholders both internal and external to ensure the following:
  • Resolving Invoices on hold
  • Ensure goods received not invoiced (GRNI) are reconciled
  • Creation, maintenance and update of distribution sets (DS)
  • Creation and updating of supplier maintenance forms
  • Lead on Procurement returns to the Centre for post
  • Point of contact for Budget Monitors and Suppliers at post on procurement issues and guidance

Delivering at Pace (Problem Solving) – 10%:

  • Filing of all procurement paper work for audit purposes.
  • Carry out weekly prism housekeeping.
  • Track monthly spend on imprest and verify all account codes for each purchase to Accounts Department.

Delivering Value for Money (Delivering Results) – 35%:

  • Ensure the delivery of the Purchase 2 Pay (P2P) process at GC.
  • Quality checks
  • Consistency checks
  • Maintain records of suppliers and documentation
  • Perform Supplier yearly market testing
  • Lead procurement of capital expenditure at GC, which includes generators, vehicles and other assets.
  • Resolve vendor grievances and claims
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Supply Chain.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field
  • Previous procurement/contract management experience in a structured organisation
  • Previous financial management experience
  • Proficient in English

Salary
N400,000.00 / month.

  • As a Van Sales Representative, you will drive a company van to visit customers, deliver products, and generate sales through direct interactions and order-taking.
  • Your role involves building rapport with clients, promoting products, and achieving sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Drive: Ensure delivery of products to assigned stores.
  • Coverage: Productively covers all assigned stores.
  • Distribution: Responsible for unmatched distribution across all covering stores
  • Pricing: Ensure recommended prices are maintained across covering stores.
  • Monthly Target: Achieve monthly target.
  • Monthly Initiatives and Offers: Ensure monthly initiatives are deployed and executed to all customers.
  • Team Player: Develop and maintain cordial working relationships with all Givanas Cosmetics staff.
  • Adhere strictly to the Company’s policies which include the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
  • Obey all instructions from your Line manager or Regional Sales Manager.
  • Daily Reconciliations: Responsible for daily reconciliations without any form of outstanding.
  • Van Maintenance: Ensure the working tool (Van) assigned is in good condition at all times through routine inspection.
  • Road Regulations and Usage: Van Rep is expected to observe all road rules & regulations and also maintain acceptable speed limits.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma.
  • Experience Level : Entry level
  • Experience Length : Minimum of 2 years
  • Must know how to drive a van.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Job Title: Technical / Electrical Maintenance Personnel (Cosmetics manufacturing company)

Location: Nigeria

Description

  • The Technical/Electrical Maintenance personnel is responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day needs and long-term planning by ensuring that high-performance maintenance services are provided within the plant to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
  • They will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department, including managing the upkeep of all manufacturing assets, managing maintenance budget and resources, and assisting in the design and installation of new systems.
  • They will also be responsible to ensure that the facilities, layout and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods, run to their maximum efficiency and output.
  • This includes total preventative maintenance (TPM), Driving Reliability Roadmap by managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical equipment as well as people management and budgetary/cost reporting through effective use of ERP systems (SAP).

Key Responsibilities

  • The role encompasses various elements related to the upkeep, maintenance and improvement of all manufacturing assets used in the production process of cosmetics and household products, along with people management and general management responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
  • Lead the execution of the Reliability Roadmap
  • Ensure the Maintenance Performance Dashboard is developed and monitored
  • Plan the resources based on a clear reading of performance and in anticipation of major maintenance activities
  • Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensuring full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in ‘missed’ maintenance activities, and manage critical spares list in line with budgetary requirements and replacement schedules
  • Prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts for all Spares Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance.
  • Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure
  • Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy through routine monthly cycle count of all maintenance inventories
  • Undertake continuous training and development of self as well as team
  • Provide technical expertise to the team through consultation with Group best practice
  • Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the reliability of the plant through technological developments and prevent system redundancy
  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
  • Be an effective communicator, able to clearly communicate technical issues
  • Financial acumen to understand, evaluate and manage budget information and costs
  • Demonstrate leadership to effectively manage the maintenance team structure and hold teammates accountable towards achieving a high standard of workmanship.

Preferred competencies

  • Minimum of HND, or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical Production Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 4-5 years supervisory experience in cosmetics/household production or manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
  • Extensive plant level experience with proven management experience
  • Technical capability and understanding
  • Extensive knowledge of TPM/EEM/PM systems for Professional Maintenance
  • Experience of managing Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for maintenance
  • Engineering Degree in Either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven work experience as a Maintenance or Engineering supervisor or in a continuous manufacturing environment
  • Adept at CMMS systems such as SAP or suitable alternative
  • Understand machine safety regulations
  • Be willing to support maintenance activities after hours, weekends and during holidays, in line with defined callout and afterhours support procedures
  • Be willing to build and develop a network of credible maintenance and technical suppliers to ensure ongoing support to improve overall plant reliability
  • Must be a team player, willing to coach, mentor and develop their team.
