Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager with a proven strong network among corporate clients in FMCG sectors, including companies such as Fanmilk and agricultural farms.
- The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of FMCG distribution channels and the ability to build and leverage such networks to drive business growth.
- This role demands entrepreneurial drive, strong sales expertise, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage and expand an existing network of corporate clients in FMCG, Fanmilk, farms, and related sectors to identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with distributors, resellers, agents, and key corporate partners to strengthen distribution channels.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies focused on the FMCG sector and agricultural value chains to accelerate market penetration and revenue growth.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales or business development within FMCG, agribusiness, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated strong network and established relationships with FMCG corporates such as Fanmilk, farms, and distributors across Nigeria and/or other African markets.
- Deep understanding of FMCG distribution channels and dynamics in Nigerian and regional markets.
- Track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets through strategic relationship-building and business development.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Nigeria and internationally.
- Experience managing B2B and B2C sales channels.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a startup or growth-phase environment.
- Passion for impact-driven businesses; knowledge of clean energy or refrigeration solutions is an advantage.

- We are looking for dynamic, street-smart Business Unit Leads to drive adoption of our Pay-As-You-Go (PAYGO) refrigeration and solar solutions across key regions.
- The ideal candidate is a natural leader with experience in below-the-line (BTL) activation, agent network growth, and collections — ideally from fintech platforms like OPay, Moniepoint, PalmPay, or FairMoney.
- This is a boots-on-the-ground role: you will be the mini-CEO of your territory — responsible for generating demand, managing field teams, and ensuring portfolio health.
Responsibilities
Drive Demand Generation:
- Activate markets (especially open markets, high-footfall zones) through direct engagement and tailored activations.
- Build relationships with small business owners (e.g. market women, frozen food sellers, salons, bars).
- Organize market storms, demos, POS marketing, and referral drives.
Team Leadership & Sales Management:
- Hire, train, and manage a team of field agents and sales reps.
- Track performance using sales dashboards and reporting tools.
- Ensure every agent is delivering weekly and monthly KPIs.
