Job Title: Procurement Officer (Quantity Surveyor)

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Officer with experience in quantity surveying, specializing in Equipment Leasing & Procurement to oversee sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring equipment for operational needs.
  • The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships, ensure cost-effectiveness, and maintain compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for leasing and purchasing equipment in line with company needs.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors to ensure favorable agreements.
  • Coordinate leasing arrangements, including contract execution, payment schedules, and maintenance terms.
  • Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier evaluation.
  • Monitor equipment lease renewals, ensuring timely action to prevent service disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain records of purchases, leases, and supplier agreements for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Work closely with internal departments to understand equipment requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop cost-saving strategies to optimize procurement efficiency and minimize expenses.
  • Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new suppliers for competitive advantage.
  • Assist in maintaining company quality control program
  • Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity and profitability
  • Handle change order requests and forecast upcoming demand
  • Manage materials/equipment inventory
  • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Positively represent the company at all times through a success-oriented and professional demeanor
  • Work with team members to complete duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in procurement, leasing, or supply chain management, preferably in equipment leasing.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement laws, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.

Job Title: Project / Design Architect

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Senior Project Architect

Job Summary

  • This role requires a right-brained revolutionary thinker who is willing to dare the impossible to create masterpieces.
  • The ideal candidate is fully responsible for concept creation, project leadership and project coordination.
  • The position will require the production of schematic designs that are functional, safe, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing.
  • You will also be involved in interior design development and execution, construction drawings preparation, design proposal schemes, construction documentation and leading project teams.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing 3D architectural and interior designs and ensuring the effective execution of designs
  • Developing concept designs using BIM tools
  • Establish design requirements for the site, its environment, utilities, zoning, development and end-user culture.
  • Proceed with research and development of preliminary schematic designs to set the direction of the project
  • Actively seeking new design and construction methods
  • Reviewing of documents for quality control evaluations
  • Meeting with clients to discuss project objectives, needs, and budget
  • Infuse all these requirements and conditions into design proposals.
  • Work with the project manager and other project team members from the preliminary design and drawings stage to working drawing and execution.
  • Supervision of project team as assigned
  • Coordinating with consultants
  • Meeting with suppliers and vendors
  • Overseeing construction phases of projects by conducting site inspections and ensure strict adherence to architects’ details and Development control approved drawings.
  • Ensuring close-out documentation and project archives are complete
  • Preparing and presenting design proposals, including detailed drawings of finished buildings, renovations, or restorations
  • Meeting with construction professionals and clients to discuss feasibility of designs
  • Working with contractors, surveyors, and building service engineers to create a construction schedule and bring the designs to fruition
  • Reviewing local rules and regulations to ensure the construction project falls within all constraints
  • Specifying the materials needed for construction of projects
  • Working with computer-aided design software to create blueprints and images
  • Coordinating work between various contractors
  • Supervising construction of buildings to ensure projects meet deadlines, stay on budget, and adhere to the original vision for the design
  • Resolving issues that come up during construction
  • Participating in project management throughout the construction
  • Occasional travel required

Requirements

  • An Architectural Degree is required (B.Sc., M.Sc.)
  • Licensed by recognised Architectural Body in Nigeria (ARCON)
  • Minimum five years of experience
  • Proficient in standard industry software: Revit Architecture, 3D Max Studio + VRAY SketchUp + VRAY, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, MS Office packages (Microsoft Project inclusive)
