Job Title: IT / Social Media Officer

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • The IT / Social Media Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s social media presence, website backend, and IT infrastructure.
  • This role requires a blend of technical skills and marketing savvy to ensure the company’s online presence is engaging, effective, secure, and well-maintained.

Responsibiliies
Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and writen) across all platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting and performance analysis.
  • Analyze and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights.

Website Backend Management:

  • Manage and maintain the backend of the company website(s), including content updates, and ensuring smooth functionality.
  • Implement and manage SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
  • Monitor website analytics and performance, making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure website security and data integrity.

IT Management:

  • Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficient operation.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols, including data backup and recovery systems.
  • Manage IT budgets and vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 2 – 4 years in social media management, website backend management, and IT administration.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and advertising.
  • Solid knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • We are an Assets Management Company looking to hire a Funds Manager.
  • The Funds Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of a portfolio of investment funds.
  • This includes developing and implementing investment strategies, conductng research, analyzing financial markets, and making investment decisions to achieve the fund’s objectives.
  • The Funds Manager will work to maximize returns while managing risk and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Investment Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with fund objectives, risk tolerance, and investment guidelines.
  • Manage the day-to-day investment actvities of the fund, including buying and selling securities.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and make adjustments to the portfolio as needed to meet investment goals.
  • Conduct research on financial markets, economic trends, and investment opportunities.
  • Analyze financial statements, industry data, and other information to make informed investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

Portfolio Construction and Risk Management:

Compliance and Regulatory:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Participate in audits and regulatory examinations as needed.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • May supervise and mentor junior investment professionals.
  • Collaborate with other members of the investment team, including analysts and traders.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in Funds Management from an Asset Management company is very key. Applicants must have 2 – 5 years experience in the field
