Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will oversee and manage the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of financial records.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to maintain the financial health of the company.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to help improve financial performance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure proper financial controls and compliance.
  • Manage financial planning, including the preparation of financial projections and long-term forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax reporting and filing.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior finance team members.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and financial risk management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 7-10 years of experience.
  • ICAN qualification is compulsory
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 per month.
