Bayelsa State On Right Developmental Trajectory – Ogbuku

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr Samuel Ogbuku, says that Bayelsa State is on the right developmental trajectory.

Speaking during the official launch of the Bayelsa State-owned airline, initiated by the Senator Douye Diri administration, the NDDC boss described the feat as a significant progress. He said: “What we have experienced today is a milestone and monumental achievement recorded by the present administration of our state. It is visible to all that the current administration, led by my elder brother Senator Diri, is visionary and poised to deliver the dividends of democracy to our people. No wonder they have come up with such a gigantic project in line with the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Dr Ogbuku said that better days had come to Bayelsa State, as the state would witness more developmental and people-oriented projects and programmes. He noted that the commitment of Governor Diri to ensuring that the welfare and economic stability of the state remained his priority. “I must commend the Bayelsa State Governor for embarking on this project and the many others which will unfold very soon,” he said.

Dr Ogbuku further stated the commitment of the NDDC to partner with state governments around the region to improve the lives of Niger Deltans through people-centred activities and programmes. ” We have so far partnered with the Governors of the region, and I can assure you that we are just getting started as we will fulfil the mandate given to us by President Tinubu,” he said.
