Apply Now: Mama Cash Grant 2024 Offering Up to €50,000 Annually Supporting Feminist Initiatives: Mama Cash’s Resilience Fund. Mama Cash backs ambitious self-directed feminist groups and endeavors advocating for the rights of women, girls, and transgender and intersex individuals. Through the Resilience Fund, Mama Cash provides sustained core funding for up to a decade, allowing grantee partners the autonomy to strategize, plan, and execute their initiatives as they see fit. This prolonged support empowers them to expand, fortify, and perpetuate their feminist movements.
Mama Cash has introduced a regional focus for new Resilience grants in 2024, aiming to rebalance their funding distribution. This strategic shift is twofold: prioritizing long-term flexible funding and maintaining transparency regarding their grant allocation procedures, institutional priorities, and workforce capacity.
Eligibility Criteria:
The Resilience Fund is open to self-driven feminist organizations and projects situated in Africa, West Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. Applicants from regions outside these areas will not be considered for new Resilience Fund grants this year.
To qualify for the Resilience Fund, organizations and initiatives must:
– Operate from a feminist perspective, prioritizing the rights of women, girls, transgender, and/or intersex individuals.
– Be led by the individuals they serve.
– Have the advancement of human rights for women, girls, transgender, and/or intersex individuals as their primary objective.
– Advocate for structural and systemic change.
– Address underrepresented or contested issues within their context.
Grant Details:
The grant amount ranges from €5,000 to €50,000 annually, with an average grant size of €35,000.
