General Qualification and Experience Requirements

Senior Lecturer

• Relevant Master’s Degree with minimum of 12 years teaching, research, or industrial experience and evidence of journal and conference publications
  OR

• PhD with minimum of 9 years experience, relevant publications, and membership of a professional body

Lecturer I

• Master’s Degree with at least 9 years experience and scholarly publications
  OR

• PhD with minimum of 3 years experience and journal publications

• Membership of a relevant professional body is mandatory

Lecturer II

• Relevant Master’s Degree with 6 years experience and publications
  OR

• PhD with at least two published works

Lecturer III

• Relevant Master’s Degree

• At least one conference or seminar paper

Assistant Lecturer

• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) OR

• HND (Lower Credit) in a relevant discipline

• NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter required
