Bayelsa State Post Primary Schools Board Recruitment After receiving the state government’s endorsement for hiring teachers in public secondary schools, preparations are underway to initiate the recruitment procedure.
The Bayelsa State Post Primary Schools Board is inviting eligible candidates with educational qualifications to submit their applications.
The execise is planned from August 21st to 25th, 2023 and will be organized based on the designated schedule for each Local Government Area as outlined below:
Day 1. Monday 21st August 2023: Yenagoa and Kolokuma/Opokuma LGAs
Day 2. Tuesday 22nd August 2023: Sagbama and Ogbia LGAs
Day 3. Wednesday 23rd August 2023: Nembe and Ekeremor LGAs
Day 4. Thursday 24th August 2023: Brass and Southern Ijaw .
Day 5. Friday 25th August 2023: Spill overs from previous days will be collected.

Bayelsa State Post Primary Schools Board Recruitment Requirements 2023
The following requirements and qualifications are needed if you want to apply for any of the vacant position. Also, you will need to upload some documents on the application portal.
- Must be 18 years and above
- WASSCE or NECO/NABTEB Result.
- National Certificate of Education (NCE).
- B.SC, HND or OND qualifications and NYSC Certificate.
- Must be Fluent in English Language.
- Good Teaching Skills.
A B.Sc or Master’s Degree from an accredited Tertiary Institution in any related discipline or an HND Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology, Home Economics and other relevant courses will also be an additional advantage. Technical Teachers Certificate (TTC) or Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) can also used.
The venue for collection of the application letters is the office of the Post Primary Schools Board, Ovom ,Yenagoa and the time is 10am till 4pm daily .

Applicants should please adhere to these stipulated dates for the various LGAs as flouting of this directive will not be condoned.
