1). Warehouse Executive

Job Role and Objectives

  • The role is responsible forthe management of receipt, inventory, and storage of all wrapping materials both inbound and outbound.
  • The Warehouse Executive will ensure that right materials and right quantity are supplied to production via One Day Store.
  • They shall understand and fulfil requirements in line with approved SOPs to provide warehouse execution, solutions, and best practices in WMS.

Responsibilities
What you will be Accountable for:

  • Management of Records in the Warehouse
  • Maintenance of proper storage of all company stocks in the warehouse, effective receipts of stock and dispatch to external/internal customers, avoidance of loss, damage, or write-offs
  • Enforcement of compliance with BAT EHS/EMS guidelines in all the warehouse activities (EHS induction training, Monthly pulsar target, Monthly warehouse rack inspection is done)
  • Conduct monthly stock take with finance and Quarterly Sox stock and reconciliation for all WM warehouses (Internal and external Warehouses)
  • Ensure that the procedure for receiving incoming materials from the supplier and its supplies for seven days store is strictly adhered to
  • Carry out SAP inter-warehouse transfer from Bonded Warehouse / External Warehouse
  • Conduct weekly Batch managed WM materials shelf-life report status to management and planning team to avoid material expiration in house without being used
  • Confirm daily SAP inter-warehouse transfer and reconcile with the physical stock in the warehouse
  • Prepare weekly stock status report for Warehouse, Bonded warehouse & other external warehouses

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND in Numerical, Financial, or similar courses
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Warehouse processes
  • Sound knowledge of SAP systems and Microsoft Applications
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills, able to operate across all hierarchy levels, providing information and support as required
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, work independently. deliver according to defined deadlines and prioritize workloads
  • Effective use of ERP tools to project and liaise with planning team for replenishment of materials from External Warehouse / replenishment from Local vendors.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse MHEs and operating systems
  • Good knowledge of EHS procedures.

2). Warehouse Assistant

Location: Nigeria

Role Positioning and Objectives

 

 

  • Your role will be to contribute to the performance of WAA Supply chain by providing basic warehousing functions of receipt and storage of goods under supervision.

What You Will Be Accountable For

  • Prompt loading and offloading of products
  • Arrange for fumigation and supplies of blends through GMES to customer
  • Proper stock and warehouse management to ensure storage and handling of leaf grades are done as per BAT best practice.
  • Follow FIFO to supply Diet, Recon, CLD etc
  • Posting of materials must be done according to picking list and current BOM.ne according to picking list and current BOM
  • Check Base Quantity before printing of PO and adhere to ‘NO SCAN, NO MOVRE’
  • Maintain new lot before GR and GR all offloaded materials into the system correctly
  • Maintain 98% stock accuracy throughout the year.
  • Manage the EHS and housekeeping procedures within the warehouses and ensure strict adherence
  • Manage and report the status of all material handling equipment’s to ensure their maintainability to avoid equipment failure.
  • Maintain good working relationship with all other functions and warehousing staff.

Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • A minimum of HND in any numerical or financial courses, in addition to this, a good knowledge of computer will be an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the warehousing processes
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in an FMCG handling large number of SKUs preferably with a manufacturing organisation sufficient to demonstrate understanding of products.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems and understanding of internal information flows.
  • Ability to operate across all hierarchy levels, providing information and support as required.
  • Good inter-personal communication skills.
  • Sound Analytical skills and ability to work with figures
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, work independently and deliver according to defined deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads.
