We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Operations Analyst

Location: Nigeria 

Job Description

  • The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for managing the financial records of the company.
  • He is saddled with tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analysing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.

Specific Roles and Functions
The following are the specific roles and functions of this position:

  • Preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements for the company.
  • Supervise the preparation of monthly management accounts for the company.
  • Monitor monthly filing of VAT, PAYE, pension and other statutory filings.
  • Preparation and monitoring of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual Budgets.
  • Preparation of Internal Management accounts to show variance between actual and budget.
  • Supervising the monthly bank reconciliation statements.
  • Signs and presents operating expenses such asloading, clearing, trip allowance, etc.
  • Supervising the posting of transactions into Sage.
  • Signs and presents staff salaries for approval and authorization.
  • Supervising the reconciliation of sales and purchase of AGO, PMS and DPK.
  • Supervising the reconciliation of the clearance, invoice and fueling of service clients.
  • Supervise and actively involved in all Bureau de Change transaction processing.
  • Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual presentations of financial activities.
  • Supervise and monitor all lead sheets flowing into the financial statements.

Other Responsibilities

  • Meeting with external consultants on issues relating to tax, audit and other financial advisories.
  • Monitor and conduct profit and cost analysis.
  • Supervise and monitor sales analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information.
  • Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations.
  • Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual presentations of financial activities.
  • Supervise and monitor all lead sheets flowing into the financial statements.
  • Meeting with external consultants on issues relating to tax, audit and other financial advisories.
  • Supervise and monitor sales analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information.
  • Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations.
  • Understand and ensure daily follow-up of AGO, PMS and DPK price.

Requirements / Experience

  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent English language speaking and writing proficiency
  • Excellent people management skills and a good team player
  • Good planning and stress management skills
  • Ability to work independently and execute tasks effectively
  • Strong organization skills with attention to details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills ( Microsoft Office Word, Excel Powerpoint, outlook, Sage)
  • Professional Qualification( ICAN)
  • Must be a Chartered Accountant.
  • Oil & Gas downstream Experience is an added advantage.

Job Title: Gas Plant Operator

Locations: Nigeria 
Employment Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities

  • Controls fractionating columns, compressors, purifying towers, heat exchangers, and related equipment to extract nitrogen and oxygen from the air for industrial and therapeutic use: Turns valves in specified sequence to control the flow of air through a series of units that compress and liquefy it, remove carbon dioxide and impurities, and separate resulting product into nitrogen and oxygen.
  • Observes pressure, temperature, level, and flow gauges to ensure standard operation.
  • Tests oxygen for purity and moisture content at various stages of the process, using burette and moisture meter
  • Adjusts equipment according to test results and knowledge of process and equipment.
  • Opens valves to transfer liquid or gaseous oxygen through a heat exchanger to cool air, heat and vaporize liquid oxygen, and store gaseous or liquid oxygen in storage tanks at specified temperatures and pressure.
  • Turns valves to transfer compressed oxygen to storage cylinders.
  • Cleans and repairs equipment, such as replacing defective valves and removing carbon from valves, using handtools and air hoses.
  • Records gauge readings and test results.
  • May open valves to convey hot nitrogen through alternate batteries of driers to remove moisture.
  • May clean and refill the drier with activated alumina.
  • May operate equipment to extract, compress, and liquefy hydrogen from natural gas and be designated Liquid-Hydrogen-Plant Operator.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess minimum of OND with 1-2 years work experience and skills.
  • 5 credit in SSCE including Math and English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (ie Excel) is an added advantage.
