Purpose of the Programme

- Build practical technology skills for employment and entrepreneurship

- Support women’s empowerment through technology training
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment
Training Areas and Required Expertise
- Office Suite Essentials: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, digital document management, productivity tools
- Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, visual communication principles
- Video Editing: CapCut, Filmora, basic video production and content creation
- UI/UX Design: User interface/experience principles, prototyping, wireframing, Figma
- Web Development: WordPress CMS, website creation basics, web content management
Responsibilities of Selected Trainers
- Develop simple lesson plans and training materials
- Conduct practical, engaging ICT training sessions
- Support learners through exercises and mentorship
- Create beginner-friendly learning activities and assessment tools
- Monitor learner performance and prepare progress reports
- Collaborate with WEP staff to maintain an inclusive learning environment
Eligibility Requirements
- Degree, diploma, or recognised certification in ICT, Computer Science, or related fields
- Proven experience in digital skills training and facilitation
- Proficiency in relevant digital tools
- Strong communication, training, and interpersonal skills
- Based in Abuja and physically available for the full 3-month programme
Preferred: Experience working with women, girls, youth, persons with disabilities, or marginalised groups. Female trainers are strongly encouraged and prioritised.
