Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Purpose
- Manage the effective maintenance of all the machines in the mills to ensure that they are performing efficiently and effectively.
The Job
- Service and repair all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
- Operates all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
- Operate main distribution panels for power changeovers.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on installed generators to avoid breakdowns.
- Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment supporting generator operations.
- Inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect operating issues.
- Perform efficient troubleshooting and fault finding on machinery and equipment.
- Document maintenance parameters to drive plant improvement.
Requirements
Qualification:
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics& English in not more than 2 sittings.
- Alternatively, NABTEB, City & Guilds, or WAEC Technical certification.
Experience:
- Minimum requirement: two (2) years cognate experience.
The Person Must:
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of maintenance management processes, corrosion prevention techniques, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.

Job Description
