Job Title: Product Manager, Card Issuing

The Role

• We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Manager with a strong background in card issuing to join our dynamic fintech team.
• The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the card issuance landscape, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven track record of successfully bringing innovative card products to market.
• The Product Manager will play a key role in assisting with defining and executing the card issuance product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the product roadmap to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive card issuance product strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer needs. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
• Roadmap Planning and Execution: Create and manage the card issuance product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and customer impact. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to drive product development and successful product launches. Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with product goals.
• User Experience and Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly card issuance experiences. Incorporate user feedback and data analytics to continuously improve and optimize the product.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about regulatory requirements related to card issuance. Work closely with compliance teams to ensure the product meets all necessary legal and regulatory standards.
• Performance Analysis: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the card issuance product. Analyze data and customer feedback to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Required Competency and Skill Set to be a Waver

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
• Proven 5+ years experience as a Product Manager in the fintech industry, with a focus on card issuance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with payment card industry standards and regulations.
• Proven ability to drive the successful launch of card products from concept to market.

The Role

• We are seeking an experienced Manager, Investor Relations to join the Strategy, Corporate Development, and Investor Relations team.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial and data analysis.
• As the Manager of investor Relations, you will work cross-functionally and collaborate closely with internal teams to gather, analyze, and present financial insights that contribute to the company’s strategy.

Responsibilities

Financial & Data Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to generate comprehensive investor reports.
• Develop and maintain financial models and valuation analyses to support investor communication and decision-making processes.

Job Title: Senior Associate Counsel

The Role

• We are seeking a seasoned Senior Associate Counsel to act as the primary legal contact for assigned clients, and provide support and answer questions for higher-level attorneys.
• The Senior Associate Counsel will exemplify legal compliance policy/standards and advise clients on compliance issues.
• You will provide legal advice in a fast-paced, dynamic, sometimes ambiguous and matrixed environment, involving a variety of disciplines, including engineering, privacy, data usage, security, marketing, ethics, public relations, finance, and business development.
• You will navigate ambiguity, assess and mitigate risk, adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and have the opportunity and need to make tough and sound decisions promptly.

Responsibilities

• Subject Expertise: You are a contributor about legal and related business matters for clients and colleagues; and you have a basic understanding of legal principles and you can effectively interpret legal information.
• Solution Implementation: You identify, anticipate, and propose solutions for legal risks; and you manage project work expenses according to budget and provide feedback to the improvement of project operations.
• Issue Resolution: You resolve project-specific issues by interacting with outside counsel or other service providers as directed by your manager.
• Communication: You organize and simplify issues and ideas in written or verbal communication, and you structure, draft, and negotiate transactional documents; you work collaboratively within and across Legal and other business functions and departments.
• Corporate functions: You identify and engage appropriate stakeholders in Legal and other departments, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Product Legal Counseling: You are responsible for supporting a variety of legal needs in connection with Flutterwave’s products and services, including tracking new or emerging regulations and ensuring products are developed and implemented in accordance with those laws.

Required Competency and Skill Set to be a Waver
Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Law Degree from a reputable university and an active license to practice law in your jurisdiction.
• 4+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in a relevant specialized practice area (tech, fintech, financial services).
• Individual contributor with leading law firm and/or in-house experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with technology concepts, technologies and related legal issues;
• Excellent negotiation, legal drafting, and communications skills
• Sound judgment that incorporates legal analysis, a pragmatic approach, and consideration for business goals and risk tolerance, and stakeholder priorities;
• Understanding of a service-oriented and customer obsessed approach to providing legal support
