Qualifications and Experience

i. Professor:

Applicants should possess a doctorate degree in the relevant field plus a minimum of twelve (12) years post qualification experience in teaching and research in a University. Demonstrate ability to initiate, develop and supervise research, capacity for academic leadership and a good record of scholarly publications with web presence of 70% and registration with relevant professional bodies where necessary.

ii. Reader:

Applicants should possess a doctorate degree in the relevant field plus a minimum of ten (10) years post qualification experience in teaching and research in a university. Demonstrate ability to initiate, develop and supervise research, capacity for academic leadership and a good record of scholarly publications with web presenceof 70% and registration with relevant professional bodies where necessary.

iii. Lecturer II:

Applicants should possess doctorate degree or Masters degree plus three (3) years as Assistant Lecturer.

iv. Assistant Lecturer/Librarian:

Applicants must have a Masters degree in the relevant field.

How to Apply for FUTO Recruitment

For College of Medicine, candidates must be Consultants or those with PhD in Medicine or Allied Medical Sciences. Candidates must have the requisite publications and teaching/clinical experience in the University or teaching hospitals. Candidates should also be Fellows of the West African College of Surgeons or that of National Postgraduate College (FWACS or FNPC).
