Since commencing operations in March 1997 the company continues to grow and exerts its presence in numerous Projects in the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler II

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Contract
Job Nature: Standard

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning and scheduling of all Maintenance activities.
  • Have good understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements (SHE), work selection criteria, work planning, norms estimating, procurement practices, business practices and controls, contractor interface awareness, development of job packs, etc.
  • Skilled in scheduling work tasks to ensure efficient resource utilization, excellent coordination between operations (equipment readiness / permitting), material availability, construction equipment support, and labor crew (skills) composition and assignment.
  • Demonstrates SAFETY is the top priority
  • Participates in planning with Core/Work Teams
  • Plans and schedules any Routine Maintenance work required
  • Works with Planner in developing schedule, cost estimates and equipment planning for Routine work to be accomplished during the Turnaround window
  • Able to plan complex job and develop resource plan with Scheduler, Execution lead, and Operations across all disciplines. Able to identify and monitor critical and sub-critical paths for major events.
  • Able to apply advanced functions of Planning & Estimating Tools, as applicable to the position.
  • Able to educate field execution personnel on look-ahead schedules, and help ensure timely work progression.
  • Able to provide input to maintenance work Contracting/Procurement strategy and steward to that plan.
  • Able to resolve scheduling issues, including: Negative Float, Out-of-sequence updates, resource overloads, scope change, progress validation, etc.
  • Able to develop a complete job plan with materials, resources and timeline.
  • Able to provide input into material of construction selection and management.
  • Able to plan, estimate, track and schedule Field Order Changes (FCO’s).
  • Able to apply planning logic, such as, lead, lag, critical path and milestones.
  • Able to adequately assess work contingencies with schedule impact, lead coordination activity between teams should contingencies arise

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within an applicable discipline, appropriate certification(s) within discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely convey recommendations to management
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Proficient in selected scheduling and planning software
  • Demonstrates good leadership skills in Work Team meetings to remove barriers and steward action items and cost profile to work plan and cost estimates.
  • Knowledge in Maintenance Planning/Scheduling with Prometheus software usage.

Job Title: Inventory and Stock Count Services Personnel

Locations: Offshore, Lagos & Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Perform stock counts at designated company locations
  • Examine discrepancies identified during count and on reconciliation with inventory records.
  • Recount some or the entire inventory items until satisfied with the count result.
  • Consult warehouse personnel and the Stock management and Inventory Control team as may be necessary for the purpose of delivering an accurate inventory count.
  • Conduct accurate inventory count of company stock at the warehouse locations in line with Company inventory Count procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
  • The inventory count is expected to be concluded across all locations within a time frame of 6 months.
  • Issue weekly a progress report of the inventory count highlighting and reporting shortages or overages.
  • Submit a draft report to Technical Logistics Management for review within 1 week of completing the inventory count.
  • Submit a final report of the inventory count within 1 week after receiving feedback from Technical Logistics management on the draft report covering the following:
    • Total volume and value of materials counted.
    • Volume, value and percentage of accurate counts
    • Volume value and percentage of variances (Shortages and overages)
    • Reasons for the variances as may have been observed during the counts.
    • Highlight materials that are physically damaged which are observed during the count.

Requirements

  • Strict adherence to compliance policy/programs of both the contractor and the company is required for the provision of these services.

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Activities

  • Extracting Cabotage values from GL 445909 and booking them for payment to NIMASA, after appropriate approvals, according to JV, and in line with monthly closure processes.
  • Preparation of monthly cabotage reports with supporting documents for interface with NIMASA.
  • Monitoring/analyzing of GL 445909 (NG01) and making corrections were necessary to maintain zero balance.
  • Extracting NCD values from GL 445911 and booking them for payment to NCDMB, after appropriate approvals, according to contractual agreements, and in line with monthly closure processes.
  • Extracting WHT and VAT values from their respective GL accounts and booking them for payment to various authorities, after appropriate approvals, according to their GL balances, and in line with monthly closure processes.
  • Monitoring of NGN and USD balances in VAT, WHT, NCD and CABOTAGE, and recovering same with due payments, for relevant regulators, from those relating to the same vendor.
  • Running accrual process for GIT monthly, to accrue the cumulative balances and booking its reversal date on the first of the next month.
  • Assist, in collaboration with Tax and JV Budget Departments, in the computation of the NDDC liability and follow up on related payments/ reconciliation thereof.
  • Assist with the accounting and booking of all Cash Calls paid by Partners into the JV Accounts/Books and analyze the related impact on the treasury report.
  • Assist with the preparation of NNPC/COMPANY and AMENAM Annual returns
  • Ensures that JV is compliant with the requirements of SOX CLO_03_NG_A each quarter.
  • Sending out emails to Company Plc and Company SA representatives to obtain their intercompany balance sheet and profit & loss accounts relating to the reporting period
  • Reconciling of Company SA and Company PLC balance sheet/profit and loss position with that of Company
  • Preparation of the Intercompany reconciliation report for Company SA & Company PLC and printing for signatures.
  • Uploading of the signed intercompany reconciliation report to SOX CM+
  • Preparing and posting of Debit notes for receiving of funds from the sale of scrap material.
  • Monitoring invoices in the workflow and following up with actors over items that are overdue.
  • Following up with archivists for reprocessing of invoices received but not in IMP for processing.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Job Requirements
Qualifications / Experience Required:

  • Accounting Degree
  • Over 5 years’ experience in the oil industry
  • Ability to use specialized accounting software (SAP) and other Windows PC applications
  • Basic understanding of upstream oil and gas industry operations.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, since the job entails frequent interactions (internal and external).

Accountabilties:

  • Timely daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly report preparations
  • Meeting with closure timeline in relation to VAT, WHT, NCD, GIT & CABOTAGE
  • Ensure SOX CLO_03_NG_A Controls compliance
  • Ensure GL balances are maintained accurately
  • Maintain good interpersonal skills.

Job Description

  • Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plan, reduce equipment failure and efficient resources administration.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
  • Active participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetings
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditions
  • Function as Equipment Care Technician, and routinely use Maintenance skills in performing simple maintenance activities
  • Report when the alarm, emergency or emergency shutdown system is out of service
  • Provide detailed, clear and accurate information when changing shift, to guarantee that unit conditions are updated and ensure operations continuity
  • Coordinate, control and monitor maintenance jobs according with the corrective, predictive and preventive planning
  • Report continuously in the log book all relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviation occurred in the work area, equipment or personnel
  • Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests
  • Active participation on emergency response activities
  • Report incidents internally and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines
  • Ensure that Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activities
  • Ensure good communication across the work team so that issues / actions can be adequately addressed
  • Provide the basic facts concerning well producing problems, current production rates, and current condition of the well
  • Ensure that the well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
  • Ensure that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and are in good working order prior to Wellwork operations taking over responsibility for the well for intervention operations
  • Provide assistance and support to the ongoing well work operations as needed.

Requirements

  • Completed Secondary Education and worked previously as a Field Technician.
  • Strong communications (oral & written).
  • High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
  • Extensive knowledge and/or experience of pipeline operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications.
  • Knowledgeable of relevant regulations.
  • Knowledgeable of relevant commercial agreements.
