Since commencing operations in March 1997 the company continues to grow and exerts its presence in numerous Projects in the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler I

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

Main Functions

  • To be responsible for the planning and scheduling of all Maintenance activities. Should have good understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements (SHE), work selection criteria, work planning, norms estimating, procurement practices, business practices and controls, contractor interface awareness, development of job packs, etc.
  • Skilled in scheduling work tasks to ensure efficient resource utilization, excellent coordination between operations (equipment readiness / permitting), material availability, construction equipment support, and labor crew (skills) composition and assignment.
  • Typical Job Positions may include: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler, Maintenance Lead, Planner/Scheduler.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates SAFETY is the top priority
  • Participates in planning with Core/Work Teams
  • Plans and schedules any Routine Maintenance work required
  • Works with Planner in developing schedule, cost estimates and equipment planning for Routine work to be accomplished during the Turnaround window
  • Able to plan complex job and develop resource plan with Scheduler, Execution lead, and Operations across all disciplines. Able to identify and monitor critical and sub-critical paths for major events.
  • Able to apply advanced functions of Planning & Estimating Tools, as applicable to the position. Able to educate field execution personnel on look-ahead schedules, and help ensure timely work progression.
  • Able to provide input to maintenance work Contracting/Procurement strategy and steward to that plan.
  • Able to resolve scheduling issues, including: Negative Float, Out-of-sequence updates, resource overloads, scope change, progress validation, etc.
  • Able to develop a complete job plan with materials, resources and timeline.
  • Able to provide input into the material of construction selection and management.
  • Able to plan, estimate, track and schedule Field Order Changes (FCO’s).
  • Able to apply planning logic, such as lead, lag, critical path and milestones.
  • Able to adequately assess work contingencies with schedule impact, and lead coordination activity between teams should contingencies arise.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a closely related position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within an applicable discipline, appropriate certification(s) within the discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely convey recommendations to management
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Proficient in selected scheduling and planning software
  • Demonstrates good leadership skills in Work Team meetings to remove barriers and steward action items and cost profiles to work plan and cost estimates.

Job Title: Lifting & Hoisting Equipment Re-Certification Inspector

Location: Rivers & Lagos

Job Description

  • Purpose of the service: Is to ensure that all lifting and hoisting equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition, in compliance with Oil & Gas industry standards and regulations.

Objectives

  • Conduct thorough inspections of all lifting and hoisting equipment.
  • Recertify equipment that meets safety and operational standards.
  • Identify and report any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions or replacements where necessary.
  • Ensure all recertification is documented and compliant with relevant regulations.

Scope Of Work
The scope of services to be provided by the contractor includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Visual and functional inspections of lifting and hoisting equipment including cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, and other related equipment.
  • Load testing of equipment where required. Non-destructive testing (NDT) to detect potential flaws or weaknesses in the equipment.
  • Calibration and certification of load indicators and safety devices.
  • Documentation of inspection findings and provision of inspection certificates.
  • Tagging and labeling of equipment with updated certification details.
  • Provision of a comprehensive inspection and recertification report for each piece of equipment.

Requirements

  • Has an experience of 10 years and above on this subject.
  • Personnel must possess certification and should be from recognized bodies such as LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) or equivalent.

Job Title: Legal Counsel – Corporate

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers & Lagos
Job type: Contract

Responsibilities
Activities:

  • Undertake legal research work and provide legal advisory services in respect of Corporate, Non-Operated Assets, and Country Services.
  • Identify, analyse and interpret national and international statutory and regulatory texts and contractual documents at draft stage or in force.
  • Advise on the interpretation, application, and enforcement of such texts.
  • Analyse and interpret Nigerian legislation and/or draft bills; follow up and regularly review new legislations and pending bills in National Assembly.
  • Prepare and draft agreements and contracts and follow through their implementation.
  • Advise on contract provisions.
  • Provide legal opinions/advice to relevant COMPANY’S departments/ project teams on a wide range of legal issues.
  • Provide legal support to COMPANY through the analysis of legal risks and possible impact on potential transactions.
  • Provide legal and contractual support to the COMPANY’S asset departments/project teams in assigned matters including in its liaison with partners, as applicable.
  • Handle routine to complex legal dossiers and take part in negotiations with partners, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Participate in preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements and contracts used in the E&P Industry.
  • Participate in negotiations with COMPANY’S’s partners, contractors and relevant government agencies.
  • Representation of Company at External Meetings as may be advised from time to time.
  • Advise on pre-litigation phases, handle litigation and arbitration matters, liaise with external counsel in any litigation/arbitration and settlement process, and represent the company in court and tribunals.
  • Carry out any other tasks or activities assigned by the Legal Manager, Corp Services, AOBO & PCS, and or General Counsel.

Accountabilities:

  • Provides legal guidance, advise and legal opinions in all its transactions with third parties, government institutions and regulators.
  • Ensures current laws and regulations affecting the Company’s operations are followed and brought to the attention of the affected entities.
  • Ensures that the Company is in compliance laws and regulations governing its activities.
  • Ensures that losses are minimized by ensuring that facts setting out the company’s response in dispute resolutions cases of arbitration, litigation and mediation are professionally collated and correctly set out to advance the interest of the company.

Requirements

  • 1st degree in law (2.1 or 2.2).
  • Call to the Nigerian Bar +10 years post call experience, 7 of which must be experience in a commercial law firm or commercial environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Masters degree in law and knowledge in French would  be advantageous.

Job Title: Drill Team Quality Representative Coordinator III

Main Function

  • Provide functional guidance to and coordinate Drill Team Quality Representative (DTQR) network activities.

  • Educate Drill Team Personnel in Quality Management System Requirements.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc. Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution
  • Previous experience in a closely related position
  • Experience in oilfield related work
  • Thorough knowledge of sound quality assurance practices.
  • Abreast of best practices and latest technology in meeting minimum industry standards and specifications (such as API Standards, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), etc.) for manufacturing, inspecting, transporting, installing, maintaining and storing oilfield equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of ASNT inspection practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections.
  • Completion of ISO 9001 Lead Course
  • Experience and extensive knowledge of oilfield Drilling and Completions Engineering or Operations.
  • Experience with Rig Equipment and related operations.
  • Good self-motivation and ability to influence others without authority (Drill Team, Quality Team, and Service Providers).
  • Strong organizational skills (programs, priorities, sharing/balancing the load).
  • Good business writing and computer software skills.
