Job Summary
- The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining an efficient, cost effective, procurement, inventory, and supplier management system that ensures prompt delivery of materials, optimum stock availability and good warehouse practice.
- The role will require expertise in Development and execution of Procurement and Supply Chain strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing and procurement activities that support key business objectives
- Ensure the execution of Supply Chain strategies in OGTL to ensure consistent and high quality value delivery
- Draw up/update, agree and enforce SLAs and operating manuals with third party service providers
- Develop, implement and monitor an efficient inventory management system at all stores under OGTL.
- Ensure that the right quality and quantity of stock items are readily available, obtained at competitive market prices and at the right time.
- Maintain a cost effective storage that allows for efficient working capital management and minimizes wastages
- Implement Supply Chain and Supplier management best practices to support commercial and operational objectives
- Responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient and cost effective inventory management and warehousing system that ensures prompt delivery of service, stock availability and good warehouse practice
Qualifications
- A Graduate Degree or its equivalent in Social, Pure, Applied or Management Sciences. with 5 + years leading the supply chain team of a Cereal Milling Manufacturing business
- A working knowledge of procurement and warehousing management
- A supplier relationship management skills
- Should be a Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP)
- Institute of Logistics Management – (ILM)
- African Centre for supply chain (ACSC).
Salary
N700,000 – N800,000 monthly.
