Job Title: Legal Associate – Corporate Services 

Location:  Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are looking to hire a Legal Associate – Corporate Services to join our remote team.

Responsibilities
Business Incorporation & Regulatory Filings:

  • Manage end-to-end business incorporation processes for clients
  • Prepare, review, and file incorporation documents with relevant regulatory bodies
  • Handle post-incorporation services including statutory registrations and compliance filings
  • Ensure timely processing of annual returns and other statutory obligations

Corporate Secretarial & Compliance:

  • Maintain corporate records, statutory registers, and governance documentation
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable corporate laws and regulations
  • Advise clients on ongoing corporate compliance requirements
  • Support changes to company structures including shareholding, directorship, and amendments

Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement:

  • Liaise with regulators, government agencies, and external partners as required
  • Support escalation and resolution of regulatory or compliance issues

Requirements

  • Law degree and qualification to practice (or relevant corporate legal experience)
  • Experience in corporate law, company secretarial services, or business incorporation
  • Strong understanding of company formation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail and document management skills
  • Client-facing experience with strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Remuneration
N100,000 per month

Job Title: Fractional Chief Financial Officer 

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Part-time / Fractional

Role Overview

  • The Fractional CFO will serve as a strategic financial partner to Bankoto and its clients, providing high-impact financial leadership without full-time overhead. This role combines hands-on financial modeling and reporting with strategic advisory, investor readiness, and decision support.
  • You will work closely with founders, leadership teams, and external stakeholders to drive financial clarity, optimize performance, and support growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling & Reporting:

  • Own and maintain a comprehensive financial model, updated monthly with actuals
  • Produce monthly Budget vs Actuals analysis with clear insights and recommendations
  • Build and maintain industry-specific KPI dashboards

Develop and manage integrated financial statements including:

  • Profit & Loss
  • Balance Sheet
  • Cash Flow Statement

Strategic Finance & Scenario Planning:

  • Conduct ad-hoc and structured scenario planning to assess the impact of business decisions

Leadership & Advisory

  • Provide ongoing strategic insights to support operational and growth decisions

Facilitate monthly financial review meetings with leadership to assess:

Customized Projects & Advisory Support:
Lead tailored strategy and operations projects based on business needs, including:

  • Cash management and runway optimization
  • Monetization and pricing strategy development

Investor, Board & Transaction Support:

  • Prepare in-depth investor and board reporting materials
  • Provide financial support for M&A activities, including analysis and scenario evaluation

Support fundraising activities including:

  • Financial narratives and equity story
  • Investor-ready models and data rooms

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CFO, Fractional CFO, or senior finance leader
  • Strong financial modeling expertise with end-to-end understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
  • Experience supporting startups or growth-stage companies
  • Hands-on approach with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to translate financial data into actionable strategic insights
  • Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and board-level reporting

  • This role will oversee sales processes, monitor performance, and implement strategies that help the sales team consistently meet and exceed targets. You will be instrumental in turning leads into customers while ensuring seamless execution across the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive customer acquisition targets and overall revenue growth for the business.
  • Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring leads are properly tracked, followed up, and converted.
  • Analyze sales data and generate reports to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
