Job Description
- BluePeak Consulting is recruiting an experienced Account Officer for our client, a reputable organization in Port Harcourt.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and supporting the company’s overall accounting and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and general bookkeeping.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and reconcile bank statements.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments.
- Assist in budget preparation, cash-flow management, and expense tracking.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and statutory remittances (PAYE, VAT, pensions, etc.).
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial procedures and controls.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as an Account Officer, Accountant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, financial reporting, and bookkeeping principles.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of office operations by performing routine clerical, administrative, and support duties efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the office and support administrative functions.
- Handle filing, photocopying, scanning, and documentation of office records.
- Receive and deliver office documents and correspondence as required.
- Monitor and manage office supplies, ensuring timely replenishment when necessary.
- Assist in scheduling meetings and organizing office activities when required.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- OND, HND, BSc Degree or equivalent qualification.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
