GTI Microfinance Limited was incorporated in August 2007 as a limited liability company and started its operations in 2008 at No. 127 Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja.

In October 2013, it was licensed as a State Wide Microfinance Bank and moved its Head Office to No. 4 Tinubu Street, Central Business District, Marina Lagos. Other branches are located at Mushin, Abattoir in Agege, Surulere and Arena.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Branch Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing loan processing, and ensuring the financial soundness of the branch’s credit portfolio.
  • This role involves supervising subordinates, evaluating loan applications, mitigating risks, and fostering strong customer relationships.
  • The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in microfinance lending, loan recovery, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Loan Processing:

  • Drive loan sales, ensuring high disbursement volumes while maintaining portfolio quality.
  • Evaluate and process loan applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies.
  • Conduct business and household visits for loan assessments.
  • Assess customers’ financial eligibility and repayment feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and guarantors.

Credit & Risk Management:

  • Ensure timely and full repayment of disbursed loans.
  • Track loan performance, implement proactive recovery strategies, and minimize defaults.
  • Monitor and manage the credit portfolio to maintain high-quality lending standards.
  • Conduct due diligence on loan applicants and guarantors.

Branch Operations & Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor loan officers and other branch staff.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide guidance on loan policies and financial literacy to customers.
  • Set performance targets and ensure they are met or exceeded.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable Microfinance Bank.
  • Strong risk management skills with the ability to disburse and recover a minimum of N50 million monthly.
  • Experience inmicro and SME loan disbursement, with a track record of minimal defaults.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.

Job Title: SME Marketing Officer

Location: Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain SME clients.
  • Drive awareness of SME-focused loan products, savings schemes, and other financial solutions offered by the bank.
  • Conduct market research to identify SME financing gaps and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, business associations, and local trade groups.
  • Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and ensure conversion into active clients.
  • Collaborate with the credit team to ensure smooth loan processing and monitoring for SME customers.
  • Organize SME-focused promotional events, business clinics, and capacity-building sessions.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends to recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Prepare periodic marketing reports and performance reviews on SME portfolio growth.
  • Meet assigned targets for client acquisition, deposit mobilization, and loan disbursement.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with  2 – 5 years work experience.

Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing loan processing, and ensuring the financial soundness of the branch’s credit portfolio.
  • This role involves supervising subordinates, evaluating loan applications, deposit mobilization, mitigating risks, and fostering strong customer relationships.
  • The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in microfinance lending, loan recovery, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, supervise, market loan products and process loan applications for Customers
  • Oversee subordinates and evaluate loan processing to determine customers financial eligibility and feasibility of repayment of loans
  • Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up loan payment plans
  • Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
  • Opening loan applications conducting loan analysis by visiting the business and household of clients
  • Visiting the business /employer of guarantors and preparing a complete loan assessment according to the bank’s credit procedures
  • Presenting loan proposals to the credit units and informing the client about the decision of the credit units
  • Ensuring punctual repayments of acquired loans from clients, contacting and visiting all parties based on needs
  • Ensuring high quality standards of the bank’s credit portfolio
  • Ability to meet and exceed targets while actively working to increasing business portfolio and clients’ base.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study or relevant professional qualification would be an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in financial services.
  • Minimum of 2years of experience in a managerial positionpaticularly ina microfinance bank.
  • Good interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promote and sell Bank products such as savings accounts, loans, fixed deposits, and other banking services.
  • Identify prospective clients through field marketing, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Educate customers on product benefits, terms, and conditions.
  • Open new customer accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Follow up on leads, manage customer relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Provide feedback from the field to improve product offerings and customer service.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND qualification /  Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 3 years work experience.
