Job Title: Senior Architect

Location: Nigeria
Engagement Length: 6 Months

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with a proven record of designing and scaling distributed web systems.
  • Strong expertise in system and application architecture, microservices, and API-driven ecosystems.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Python, React, and SQL-based data modeling, with solid understanding of full-stack integration principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing interactive UI systems, sandboxed environments, or multi-session distributed architectures.
  • Deep understanding of deployment and scaling strategies, including the ability to design architectures that efficiently manage thousands of isolated sessions within a shared runtime environment.
  • Strong grasp of state management, session isolation, and verifier or agent-based systems.
  • Proven ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable, and performant technical solutions.
  • Excellent technical communication, documentation, and leadership skills for aligning cross-functional teams (Frontend, Backend, QA, Verifiers, Trainers, PM).
  • Familiarity with LLM integrations, verification workflows, or agentic simulation systems is a strong plus.

Job Title: Python / FastAPI Development Lead

Location: Nigeria
Engagement Length: 3 Months
Commitment Required: 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week with an overlap of 4 hours with PST.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Python development, including 5+ years of hands-on expertise with FastAPI for building scalable, high-performance backend systems.
  • 4+ years of team leadership experience, managing and mentoring teams of 5 or more developers to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Proven ability to review code, provide constructive feedback, and merge PRs to ensure consistency, reliability, and adherence to engineering standards.
  • Strong track record of identifying and mitigating risks early, coupled with a deep sense of ownership and accountability across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Expert-level knowledge of FastAPI (experience with frameworks such as Flask or Django is beneficial, but FastAPI expertise is required).
  • Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, implementing asynchronous programming, and managing the complete API lifecycle from design to deployment.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and scalable design patterns.
  • Familiarity with NumPy and Pandas; exposure to PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus.
  • Good to have: Experience with SQL and familiarity with Reinforcement Learning (RL) environments such as OpenAI Gym, Gymnasium, or Stable Baselines.
