Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

To achieve cost-effective Utilization of IT Horizons’ financial resources, through the definition of financial standards, policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Engages Executive Management and the appropriate Board Committee to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.
Develops and utilise financial models and activity-based financial analysis to provide a basis for investment decisions and business planning.
Manages key banking relationships to facilitate proper, timely and cost-effective funding of business operations.
Develops and maintain a system of appropriate financial policies, procedures and controls to ensure efficient financial management.
Monitors all third-party payments to ensure that such payments are justified by the value of work successfully completed and are in alignment with the approved budget.
Oversees the preparation and communication of timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reports for investors or lending institutions and IT Horizons’ management on aperiodic and /or ad-hoc basis.
Raise funds as approved by the Board of Directors to finance IT Horizons’ activities.
Implement a sound accounting framework in compliance with statutory provisions.
Develops and implement a robust and reliable financial reporting system in compliance with statutory requirements.
Ensures that adequate controls are in place to facilitate seamless payment system.
Establish measures or controls to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately captured and reported.
Approve accruals and adjustments on erroneously posted financial transactions into the financial system.
Liaise with statutory auditors to discuss and resolve queries as they arise to ensure seamless audit exercise.  Develops and manage relationships with relevant external bodies e.g. regulatory organisations, auditors, solicitors, banks etc.
Respond to relevant requests from financial institutions.
Approves payroll along with Chiefs, P&C to facilitate payment to staff.
Advise executive management on changes in financial regulations, legislation and government tariffs.
Manage IT Horizons’ treasury assets to achieve optimal sourcing, application and growth of funds.
Provide technical training, guidance and advise on financial accounting issues, developments and trends to other business or departmental heads.
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and provide leadership to company’s Finance Department.
Manage the performance of staff in Finance Department.
Review weekly financial reports submitted by relevant departments or units and presents timely reports to the CCO.
Coordinates the preparation of the company’s financial reports and statutory reporting process.
Oversees the preparation of regular financial and management accounts.
Perform other duties that may be assigned by the CFO.

Job Title: Finance Officer (ICAN)

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

To provide support in bookkeeping, capturing of accounting transactions, bank reconciliation and reporting on financial transactions.
Prepares records for remittance of statutory deductions such as: Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Capital Gain Tax and staff related statutory payments i.e. PAYE, Pension, NHF, etc.

Job Responsibilities

Updates account payable and receivable ledgers for all purchases, including payments to vendors for products or services.
Receives invoice and requisition for goods and services and also process payments accordingly.
Prepares and update prepayments, accruals and provisions schedules and ledger.
Prepares weekly report for payment transactions.
Prepares periodic or monthly reconciliation of all accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Relates effectively with the organisation’s financial service providers.
Documents and update records of all fixed assets to ensure assets are properly valued, accounted for and safeguarded.
Reviews records for remittance of staff related statutory payments i.e. PAYE, Pension, NHF, etc.
Prepares monthly account and compute appropriate taxes; VAT and WHT schedules.
Processes expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
Assists in the generation of financial reports as required by management.
Handles all aspects of assigned bookkeeping activities such as journals and nominal ledger administration by updating the accounting application with transactions as they occur.
Implements accounting controls in day-to-day performance of tasks (e.g. confirm the accuracy of general ledger codes on the accounting system).
Documents and updates records of all assets to ensure proper valuation and security.
Collates and consolidates financial information from all business units and prepares trial balances.
Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Accountant

Job Title: Solutions Architect

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

Speaking with customers via email, phone, physical meetings for initial requirement capture
Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, in-market field sellers, partner under your area of concentration.
Support sales team, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by Presales Lead or Sales Lead.
Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the organization
Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported
Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within clients. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
Builds relationships especially on C-level with customers and global partners that result in superior solutions and deeper loyalty and adoption of ITH’s solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
Establishing the customer environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
Design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment
Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
Deliver Proof of Concepts (POC)
Product presentations and demonstrations
Support with technical qualification of sales opportunities
Collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or HND with 4 to 6 years experience.
Strong knowledge of Computer, Backup/DR, System and Microsoft Solutions.
Knowledge of Network, Wireless, Collaboration, and Security Solutions.
