Job Title: Microbiology Lab Attendant

Locations: Enugu and Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Responsibilities
Not exhaustive:

  • Prepare and sterilize media, reagents, and laboratory equipment.
  • Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas.
  • Assist analysts in performing microbiological tests.
  • Dispose of laboratory waste according to established procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
  • Prepare samples for testing.
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as weighing and measuring.
  • Assist in the preparation of laboratory documentation.
  • Follow all safety protocols and GMP guidelines.

Professional Requirements (Minimum)

  • OND or equivalent
  • Preferred- Science lab technology, Microbiology or related.

Language required (minimum):

  • English Language

Software knowledge required (minimum):

  • Basic computer skills

Job Title: Microbiology Analyst

Main Responsibilities
Not Exhaustive:

  • Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established procedures and GMP guidelines.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring of clean rooms and controlled areas.
  • Perform microbial identification and enumeration.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
  • Develop and validate microbiological test methods.
  • Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of SOPs and other laboratory documentation.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or HND
  • Preferred- Microbiology, Biotechnology or related field
