Overview

• Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers on their AI Transformation journey.
• This team is responsible for envisioning new possibilities for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.
• As a Sr Account Technology Strategist, you will have the opportunity to design and drive leading edge technology initiatives in partnership with your customers, both supporting your customers’ desired business outcomes and achieving Microsoft’s business objectives.
• Paired with an Enterprise Account Executive, leveraging your large, multi-functional v-team across the breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio and the vast catalog of Microsoft Partner offerings, you will build and grow your network of technology executives within your customers and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customers adopt and embrace AI technologies.
•  With a proven history of innovating technical solutions to achieve customers’ business objectives and achieving account growth targets, this role will give you the opportunity to combine your technology and industry knowledge to deliver on AI solutions to accelerate your customers’ AI vision and to ultimately become their trusted technology advisor.

Responsibilities

• Customer AI and Security Strategy Leadership – Document and articulate the customer’s business objectives, technology landscape and AI and Security strategy.
• Technology Relevant Trusted Seller – Drive Microsoft Business growth including partner co-sell motions and governance around consumption and intent to use
• Technology Leadership across Solution Areas – Lead AI, (including data and migration) and Security, conversations across the rooms of the house showcasing how they align to the customers business priorities.
• Industry Knowledge – Apply expertise in customer businesses, technology platforms and industry to build AI strategy with the customer that is aligned to business outcomes. Challenge customers’ assumptions with constructive dialogue about their business and technology.
• Applies expertise (deep expertise across few accounts or broad expertise across many accounts) and thought leadership to identify and inform the development of the right Industry Sales Kits and industry partners within the customer’s vertical industry.
• Articulates and understands specific industry-related market trends, as well as customer threats, opportunities, and barriers to growth as they relate to the customer’s broader industry.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs):

• 7+ years’ experience in working in an industry (Financial Services) driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in an industry (Financial Services), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration AND 4+ years’ experience working in an industry (Financial Services), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) OR equivalent experience.

Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect – Cybersecurity

• We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Security Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to drive our customer’s security transformation on the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Platforms.
• This is a customer-facing role, owning the security-focused technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft as well customer engagements, including architecture, implementation, and operational health.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on project delivery experience in customer-facing roles and success in leading in-depth technical security architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Security Architects, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers to Secure our customer’s technology estate and drive Security as an enabler for Azure and Microsoft 365 workloads.

Responsibilities

• Trusted Advisor – Empower customers in their Microsoft Security adoption journey, being hands on with them to envision and define a Secure strategy, Architecture, and implementation of necessary security controls aligned with Microsoft XDR and Microsoft Azure Security workloads while ensuring operational health.
• Security Services Acquisition and Expansion – Position and deliver solutions that drive Security products usage with a focus on Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud and other Azure security solutions. Collaborate with Azure Infrastructure, Data, Apps teams to expand Security of cloud migration projects.
• Understand Customer/Partner Technical Environment – Accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits “Secure by Design” framework, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
• Architecture Design and Deployment – Run Architectural Design Session to build a plan for
• implementing the solution — governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production
• Practice Development – Collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders including FastTrack, partner, and Microsoft Services in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform
• Thought Leadership – Land an end-to-end value and architecture plan for Security, which spans the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings, and with focus on Threat Protection, ID + Access Management and Cloud Security. Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft, Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Cybersecurity, OR related field AND 5+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, cybersecurity, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
• 4+ years experience working on technical projects.
• Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).

Technical:

• The technical aptitude and experience to learn new cloud security technologies and understand relevant cloud security market trends.
• Competitive Landscape: Knowledge of cloud security platforms and competitors. Breadth of technical security experience and knowledge, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in two or more of the following security solutions
  • Microsoft Sentinel – Hands on Experience in deploying Microsoft Sentinel in complex customer environments required.
  • Defender for Cloud – Hands On Experience in deploying Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Threat protection – Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Endpoint, Identity and O365 – hands on experience required, supported with certificates.
  • Data Security (Purview) – experience preferred.
  • Identity and Access Management (Microsoft Entra)
• Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Security Administrator, Microsoft SOC Analyst Associate.
