In addition to our current operations, we have several other coal blocks under exploration in Nsukka/Udenu, Enugu State, Dekina LGA, Kogi State, and Ogbadibo LGA, Benue State.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: International Sales Manager
Location: Nigeria
Report to: Sales Director
Objective
- Spearhead our global sales and business development efforts in the mining and mineral industry.
- Your primary focus will be on cultivating and managing key customer relationships, acquiring new international buyers, and driving business growth across global markets for our coal, iron ore, and mineral products.
- Revenue Generation: Generate revenues from existing clients and identify potential new clients.
- Sales Strategy: Plan and execute sales strategies, including setting targets, budgets, and establishing required resources.
- Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payment collection and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Ensure that all monies owed to the company are collected in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reporting: Provide monthly reviews and year-end reports on sales performance and progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and nurture strategic buyer relationships in key markets, including India, China, the Middle East, and Europe
- Lead export negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract execution with international buyers
- Provide market intelligence and insights into global commodity trends to inform pricing strategies and business decisions
- Ensure seamless international shipments and documentation through effective logistics coordination
- Ensure all international sales contracts and agreements adhere to the company’s governance, anti-corruption, and ethical trade policies.
- Drive business growth through strategic sales planning, market analysis, and customer engagement
- Build and maintain a strong network of international buyers, leveraging existing relationships and identifying new opportunities
- Coordinate with the Logistics Director to ensure contracted delivery schedules and shipping methods meet international safety and environmental standards, particularly regarding emissions controls during transport.
- Report on market intelligence concerning evolving global ESG demands and regulatory changes affecting coal sales, leveraging these insights to inform pricing strategies and business decisions.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- You will be required to make substantial trips and attend industry-specific conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with 5+ years of export sales experience, preferably in the mining or commodities industry
- Excellent negotiation and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse cultures
- Proven knowledge of export documentation, trade regulations, and international commercial practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and trends
- Proficiency in a second language (desirable)
- Experience with sales tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to travel internationally.

Job Title: Manager, HSE & Compliance

Objective
- Ensure the organization meets legal standards, protects people and the environment, fosters a strong safety culture, and integrates social performance into operational planning by developing policies, managing risk, and overseeing environmental practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies, strategies, and management systems (e.g., ISO 45001/14001) aligned with business goals and legal requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HSE, Law, Engineering, or related field; NEBOSH/ISO certification with 5+ years HSE experience in mining or heavy industry
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian mining and environmental regulations, as well as HSE legislation and standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and find effective solutions
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive change

- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and brokers to secure favorable terms, improve service, and drive business growth.
- Create and manage logistics budgets and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Work closely with sales, production, finance, and customer service teams to drive business outcomes, improve communication, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Develop strategies to minimize the environmental footprint of transportation, including tracking fleet fuel efficiency, reducing emissions, and ensuring responsible disposal of operational waste.

Qualifications
