Job Title: Representative, Sales and Trade Development (Alimosho 3 / Egan) Sales and Distribution

Mission

  • To manage and develop trade infrastructure and Financial Services through channels of distribution especially retailers, to ensure MTN dominance at retail in the assigned territory.
  • To drive visibility and brand affinity within assigned territory for competitive edge.

Description

  • Confirm  that  sub dealers and dealer branches are contacted and stock receipt/movement verified.
  • Provide informal training in shops on products, services and promotions being run by marketing, channel or region and on-the-spot training/coaching of all visited outlets in territory (100% of all visited outlets in call cycle)
  • Manage events and promos, generate sub-dealer promo specifications and perform post-promo evaluation
  • Provide weekly/monthly sales activity report and market intelligence report to field service engineers
  • Monitor and report back on network quality and other sales impacting indices in territory covered
  • Ensure call cycle time of 8 – 10 visits a day per territory or as business requires
  • Identify, classify and support all players in channels of distribution and ensure  weekly/monthly database update
  • Ensure MTN product availability in channel is >95% at all times and provide weekly product availability report of all visited outlets during call cycles
  • Direct all channel participants to MTN identified growth area within your territory
  • Establish consistent channel standards including branding as per channel recommendation.
  • Increase brand awareness – Signage, POS distribution and target 65% visibility in the channel of distribution (Trade marketing team will measure)
  • Support all identified outlets with 100% merchandizing as appropriate and defined.
  • Build relationship between lower and upper levels (i.e. authorized distributors and sub dealers), support trade partners and Sub dealers and link subs, retailers etc. to Trade Partners and help nurture the relationship
  • Resolve all issues/queries with regards to activations, products and promotions
  • Gather market information and provide feedback to management.

Requirements
Education:

  • First Degree Preferably Social Sciences
  • Fluent in English.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years experience in an area of specialization, with experience working with others
  • Experience working in a medium organization
  • Sales and Marketing experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment

Job Title: Engineer, BTS Field and RHLS – Network NG

Mission

  • To monitor and optimize RBS Field and Radio network to meet MTNN goal of delivering quality of service for improved customer experience.

Description

  • Provide high level support for complex field operations (RBS) related emergency/ faults and ensure that all faults are rectified promptly within contracted SLA.
  • To ensure RBS expansion/ reconfiguration is carried according to schedule and with minimal distortion to service.
  • Implement and introduce technological innovations to improve MTNN quality of service
  • Prepare and compile report on the availability and quality of RBS sites considering the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Carry out routine site maintenance/performance checks to ensure the integrity of MTN Nigeria’s assets and improved customer experience.
  • Supervise RBS radio routines as defined to schedule.
  • Ensure maintenance work undertaken by contractors meets MTN Nigeria’s specification.
  • Perform high level support functions on all MTN RAN network, ZTE, Huawei and Ericsson BSC, RNC,  g-NODEB, E-NODE B, NODE B  and RBS sites.
  • Ensure all security and network Integrity documentation is completed and adhered to according to NCC rules and regulations.
  • Ensure New Radio Hardware or Software Type Approval before Roll-out or deployment to the MTNN Network
  • Perform Calibration of tools and Equipment
  • Interface with Spare Parts Management System, SPMS, VENDORS to ensure that RBS, Node B, e-Node B, g-Node B, BSC and RNC, TRANSMISSION and LAN WAN, Radio spares are optimized.
  • Ensure every New IBS-DAS Node is ATPied and Accepted.
  • Provide and manage Network Operation Services Consumables.
  • Maintain all MTN and professional ethical standards and ensure internal audit activities are carried out in compliance with The International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards)
  • Implement approved FNI software and Hardware changes as directed with change request

Requirements
Education:

  • Frist Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field.

Experience:
3-7 years’ experience which includes

  • 3-7 years RF & BTS experience with a GSM or Wireless Telecomm operator
  • Experience in transmission and radio planning is desirable
  • Radio Frequency Propagation
  • Microwave Radio equipment operation and maintenance.

  • This leader will build predictive models, architect multi-channel growth systems, run structured experimentation, and partner deeply with Product, Data, Digital, and Engineering to unlock sustainable customer and revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Growth Strategy, Planning & Ownership:

  • Develop quarterly and annual growth strategies aligned with business revenue, MAU, corridor, and product goals.
  • Build growth models, forecasts, and scenarios for acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Drive a KPI framework for CAC, LTV, ROAS, activation rate, retention, churn, and growth loops.
  • Identify growth barriers, whitespace opportunities, and priority levers across segments.

Multi-Channel Acquisition (Paid + Organic):
Paid Acquisition:

  • Architect and optimize paid user acquisition across Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, OEM/App stores, and programmatic platforms.
  • Own media mix planning, budget allocation, and daily optimization.
  • Implement creative and audience testing frameworks to scale efficiently.
  • Ensure optimal CAC and quality acquisition for multiple products and corridors.

Organic Growth Loops:

  • Build and optimize referral programs.
  • Design merchant- and agent-led growth loops tied to incentives and behavioral insights.
  • Leverage in-app engagement features to encourage organic sharing and return visits.
  • Partner with Product to create habit-forming experiences.

Funnel Optimization & Conversion Rate Improvement:

  • Own the full funnel: Install → Registration → KYC → Activation → First Transaction → Repeat Usage → Retention
  • Diagnose drop-offs using analytics, heatmaps, and behavioral data.
  • Partner with Product to improve onboarding and transaction flows.
  • Run CRO experiments (A/B testing) across landing pages, app screens, and onboarding journeys.
  • Collaborate with Content/Digital for conversion-optimized creative.

Lifecycle Marketing & Retention:

  • Build automated lifecycle journeys across:
    • Email
    • Push notifications
    • SMS
    • In-app communication
  • Develop segmentation strategies for new users, active users, dormant users, high-value users, and corridor-specific cohorts.
  • Own retention and churn reduction strategies.
  • Partner with Data to build cohort dashboards and trigger-based engagement flows.

  • Establish an experimentation roadmap and process (test → measure → scale or kill).

  • Conduct incrementality testing, creative testing, and channel attribution tests.
  • Maintain an experiment backlog and growth playbooks.

Data, Attribution & Insights:

  • Partner with Data/Engineering to ensure proper instrumentation and analytics setup.
  • Own attribution modeling (MTA/MMM/incrementality).
  • Build dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly growth performance.
  • Present insights to leadership and drive cross-functional decision-making.

Cross-functional Leadership & Alignment:
Work closely with:

  • Product → to fix conversion barriers & launch growth levers
  • Data → to build dashboards, cohorts, attribution
  • Engineering → to launch growth features & instrumentation
  • Digital/Comms → to align messaging and creative for growth
  • Product Marketing → to ensure GTM handover and post-launch scaling

While the Growth Lead does not own messaging or GTM narrative, they ensure the GTM → growth scaling pipeline works efficiently.

Budget Ownership & ROI Management:

  • Own the growth and performance marketing budget end-to-end.
  • Forecast and allocate spend based on expected CAC, ROAS, and contribution to MAU growth.
  • Optimize spend across channels for maximum efficiency.
  • Drive quarterly CAC and LTV improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, or related field preferred
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications are an advantage.
  • 3 – 7 years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or data-driven demand generation.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills (cohort analysis, funnel analysis, forecasting).
  • Strong proficiency in analytics tools (GA4, Firebase, Mixpanel, Appsflyer/Adjust, BI tools).
  • Experience in fintech, payments, mobile money, banking, marketplace, or high-growth digital apps.
  • Deep expertise with Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, programmatic, and app acquisition platforms.
  • Demonstrated success improving CAC, conversion rates, and retention.
  • Experience leading funnel optimization and lifecycle marketing workstreams.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization and A/B testing
  • Ability to translate business goals into executable marketing plans
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
