Job Title: Internal Control Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- The Internal Control Officer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring internal control systems to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of financial information, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and protection of the organization’s assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic audits of petty cash funds to ensure proper usage and documentation.
- Verify the accuracy and timeliness of daily cash counts and reconciliations.
- Perform regular audits and reviews of financial transactions, inventory management, and other operational processes to identify anomalies or errors.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of cash controls and verify the accuracy of cash records and reporting.
- Compare physical counts with inventory records and review reconciliations for accuracy and verify the accuracy of inventory records and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to policies for inventory ordering, receiving, and storage.
- Prepare reports and presentations on internal control findings, recommendations, and performance metrics for management review.
- Ensure accuracy of payables and receivables balances in the accounts by providing supporting schedules.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant educational qualifications with at least 5 years experience in a related field
- Professional certifications are an added advantage.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: NYSC
Job Responsibilities
- As a warehouse associate, you report directly to and work closely with the Warehouse manager.
- Ensure proper physical data entry and record keeping of stock, receipts and invoices.
- Track stock movement and conduct cycle counts.
- Coordinate shipments: receiving and loading of products.
- Proper management of returned products while ascertaining they are in good condition.
- Must have the utmost attention to detail.
- Coordinates assigned workflows, tasks, schedules and procedures.
- Immediate call for action regarding loading/unloading discrepancies, delays and warehouse operational issues.
- Quick notification to inventory and sales team on damaged/defective products and soon-to-expire products.
- Adherence to work processes, safety regulations and company policies.
- Inspection of products for defects and damages.
- Facilitate investigation of defective/damaged products as needed.
- Other assigned duties.
Requirements and Skills
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Currently serving in Port Harcourt with at least 7 months NYSC service period before pass-out.
- Skilled in MS Office Excel with strong numerical proficiency.
- Onsite work location in Port Harcourt.
