We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Subsea Fabrication Project Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time

Responsibilities
You will ensure:

  • Full compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) policies throughout the project.
  • Fulfillment of all contractual obligations toward clients, service providers, and subcontractors.
  • Achievement of financial and operational goals set by the group.
  • Effective communication and coordination with all external stakeholders.

Your tasks will be (not exhaustive) :

  • Oversee the fabrication of offshore subsea structures ensuring compliance with technical and QSHE standards.
  • Prepare, review, and validate project proposals and contracts with management.
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability.
  • Track project progress, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Proactively communicate technical and schedule deviations to the client.
  • Manage invoicing, variations, and claims for additional work.
  • Organize and lead project kick-off and regular progress meetings (internal and client).
  • Coordinate resource allocation including personnel, equipment, subcontractors, and purchases.
  • Select, supervise, and evaluate subcontractors.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant technical and administrative documentation.
  • Manage project close-out activities including punch list resolution and final acceptance.
  • Conduct project debriefings and report feedback to management.
  • Lead and support the project team including performance reviews and training.
  • Participate in recruitment and represent the company with third parties.

Profile Wanted

  • Engineering Degree (general or specialized in subsea, structural, or mechanical disciplines) or equivalent experience in offshore/subsea fabrication and construction.
  • At least 8 years of significant experience managing subsea fabrication projects.
  • Deep understanding of subsea engineering, particularly related to mudmats and metallic offshore structures.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex projects from tender to completion.
  • Strong ability to implement and enforce QSHE policies.
  • Recognized leadership skills with the ability to delegate and supervise multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management and client communication.
  • Autonomous, proactive, reliable, rigorous, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work offshore as required.
  • Proficient in IT tools for project tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to define and monitor project performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Fluent in English.

Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager

Position Summary

  • Ponticelli Frères, which is an industrial group with international activities providing technical  to companies in the oil and gas industry, is looking for a QAQC Manager, based in its subsidiary in Nigeria.

Responsibilities
The selected applicant will have to carry out the following activities:
QAQC Activity:

  • Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements
  • Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
  • Managing the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities including:
    • Planning duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules;
    • Establishing service standards for end users (i.e., internal department or external customer)
    • Identifying and developing QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs
    • Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction of all QA/QC personnel.
  • Taking full responsibility for hold-point releases once all QMS functions have been completed and the equipment is ready to go into the next work stage
  • Developing and implementing risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processes
  • Managing plant integrity through a failure analysis reporting system and following up on recommendations
  • Oversee supervision of all visual inspections and NDE, including 3rd party subcontractors
  • Managing inspection, NDE, and testing plans for new construction, repair work, and alterations
  • Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies
  • Manage construction processes, plant equipment, inspection and NDE personnel certification and QMS internal audits.

Welding activity:

  • Management of all welding procedures and qualifications and testing
  • Analyse welding requirements for specific projects ensuring the any already approved in house procedures are acceptable and generate new procedures specific to project requirements and needs
  • Responsibility for the coordination of multiple projects and managing external test laboratories and Classification societies and Notified bodies with regard to welding procedures their approvals and testing
  • Provide technical support with industry standards and specifications such as ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, AWS, BS EN, plus any other relevant standards which may be required
  • Management and control of all materials and consumables for welder testing and procedures
  • Coordinate failure analyses and root cause analysis on welding related issues if required
  • Set up and control and maintenance of a welder data base.

Job Title: Yard Manager H / F

Responsibilities
Fabrication / Production:

  • Oversee and coordinate of the full Work Shops production from the Raw material laydown area to the Fully completed fabricated items;
    • steel structural fabrication;
    • piping fabrication (CS, SS, duplex, Super duplex…);
  • Manage the daily operations of an oil and gas fabrication yard, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget;
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize commercial efficiencies within the yard;
  • Manage/supervise yard crews and equipment, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of facilities;
  • Manage production planning, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting;
  • Collaborate with project managers, supply chain, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets;
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders;

Warehouse:

  • oversee and coordinate the activities related to the warehouse and equipment;
  • the receiving, handling, storage and distribution of goods;
  • oversee inventory control systems, conducting regular stock counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy;
  • manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of all warehouse staff to ensure a skilled and productive workforce;
  • analyze warehouse performance data to generate reports on productivity, efficiency, and other key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • coordinate with logistic departments to optimize the flow of goods and resolve any logistical issues;
  • oversee the Storage and preservation of the materials stored in the warehouse;
  • oversee the MOBIMAT system deployed in PONTICELLI (Warehouse Software Management System).

Requirements

  • You have at least 10 years experience in Fabrication and/or Method.
  • You have proven experience in Oil & Gas projects.
  • You are recognised for your skills in project management, technical coordination, and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of SAP software is required for this position. Knowledge of the following tools would be a plus : JC / MTracker / SAP Mobimat.
  • Professional English is mandatory for the position.

  • Lead all activities related to the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (EIT) scope for an onshore project, from construction engineering to construction and commissioning on site.
