Job Title: Laboratory Chemist

Job Description

  • We are looking for highly skilled people with knowledge and experience to drive our mission to empower individuals to embrace their unique sense of style.
  • The candidate will be responsible for researching and developing new product processes and making modifications to existing products to improve overall performance, efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities 

  • Generating ideas for new products and researching feasibility in terms of profitability, resource availability and compliance with regulations.
  • Formulating new products and liaising with engineering, research, technical and/or production staff.
  • Planning, organising and overseeing process or production trials.
  • Making improvements or modifications to current product processes.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.
  • Minimum of 10years experience in the FMCG.
  • He/She must be proficient in the use of MS Office software & Social Media handles.
  • Must be working as a Chemist or in an equivalent position.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and overseeing all maintenance-related work.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facility equipment to ensure functionality

Qualification

  • The ideal candidate should be a graduate in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline with 15 years experience in the Manufacturing industry with the last 5 years in a similar position as advertised.
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office Software.

About the Role

  • The candidate will be responsible for implementing marketing communication program focused on creating brand awareness in target audience and trade channels with the objective of building the brands, products management, generating demand, driving sales online and offline.

  • Increasing the demand / visibility at consumer channels level (Campuses, Institutions, Neighbourhoods, Events places, Market areas, etc.) to compliment brands & products management at trade channels (Distributors, Wholesaler & Retailer (Modern Trade) level.
  • Marketing Communication Management: working with team leaders (Trade Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Brand Executive) on Instagram, FB & E-Commerce, Visual Content, Graphics Content and PR & Blog to focus on consumer channels.
  • Identify non-performing products and consumer channels, define and implement communication strategies to improve upon them.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationship with clients.

What We Expect

  • B.Sc. / HND in marketing, business administration or any related field with 10 -15years’ experience as a direct sales agent, preferably in the banking, Insurance industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ driving experience.
  • Good presentation, reporting and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate and present.
  • Good relationship management ability.
  • Negotiation and convincing skills.
  • Must have ability to handle multiple responsibilities — to work across many accounts, projects, and/or issues and prioritize effectively.
  • Must possess a Valid driver’s license
