Job Title: Contracting Management Advisor III

Main Functions
- The Contracting Management Advisor is a technical leader who serves as an expert in contract planning, development, and administration, or materials management matters.
Responsibilities
Contracting and Materials Management Strategy Development:
- Ensure that the organization properly translates project specific objectives and strategies into appropriate Contracting and Materials Management Strategies
- Provide advice to Project Management on quality issues and support effort to resolve them
- Ensure that the Contracting Strategy Workshops (CSWs): consider appropriate alternatives and objective criteria for evaluation and selection of lead case and fallback options, utilize appropriate broad based market intelligence in assessing contractor interests, capabilities and compensation options and consider partner requirements / constraints
- Support the organization in review and endorsement of proposed contracting strategies
Contract Planning:
- Ensure that screening / pre-qualification activities engage an appropriately broad contractor community, with the necessary critical questions / evaluations
- Support the organization in review and endorsement of proposed bid slate
- Ensure that bid review plans incorporate best practices and apply the most weight to critical success / failure criteria
- Support the organization in review and endorsement of proposed contract award recommendation
Contract Administration:
- Ensure that complex administration matters such as incentive plans and major claims resolution receive appropriate scrutiny and strategic / critical thinking prior to implementation
Skill Development:
- Support the Senior Contracts Engineering Consultant in mentoring and development of SMEs, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Specialists, and Contracts Engineer (CE) Advisors
- Support the equipping and education of personnel in project contracting
- Serve as a trainer in contracting sponsored courses (Contract Planning, Development and Administration (CPDA), Bid Review, Advanced Contracts Strategy Management (ACSM) )
- Support the Sr. Contracts Engineering Consultant and management in assessing organizational competencies and skill development plans
External Engagement:
- Support planning and engagement of contractor executive management as necessary in furthering strategic relationships, development of emerging contractors, and resolution of critical issues
- Engage as necessary with partners to educate on Company contracting processes, MI, and strategy development
- Engage with Company Affiliate contracting professionals to share learnings
Organization, Systems, Processes, Procedures:
- Support / champion the continuous improvement and incorporation of company’s lessons learned
- Support the Sr. Contracts Engineering Consultant and management in assessing that the organization and its systems, processes, procedures are delivering the intended business results
Requirements
- BS in Engineering required
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience in contracts engineering / administration / materials management required
- Experience in project leadership required
- Broad understanding of project execution and contracting principles, theories, and concepts
- Expert in commercial negotiations, contractor management and contract administration
- Willing to business travel or relocate to project sites (domestic / overseas)
- Management experience on major project
- Owner/Operator experience in project management roles
- Knowledge of Company controls requirements (e.g., DOAG, Business Standards)
Additional Information:
- Participate in pre-qualification and contractor selection
- Liaise with Procurement to ensure required Contract Documents are in place for Deep water drilling, completions, workovers and well interventions
- Participate in contract handover between Procurement and Business Line
- Initiate and Facilitate contract kick-off meeting with Contractor
- Communicate with Contractor to develop a joint Interface Management Plan
- Engage in contract life cycle and overseeing the entire contract portfolio for each business line/function
- Responsible for stewarding contractor interface activities throughout contract life cycle
- Participate in service planning and develop contract strategy
- Act as a liaison and coordinator among Procurement, SSH&E and Operations within the business line
- Establish and maintain the Active Contractor Tracking Database
- Monthly KPI reporting (e.g., Contract Stewardship, Man hour reporting, etc.)
- Link to other business lines to share best practice
- Coordinate and conduct Contractors Site Assessment
- Coordinate review contractor crew competency– Organize and coordinate Contractor Performance Assessments (Reporting Quarterly interface, A&D compliance, Contractor compliance check and Annual Performance Scorecard)

Job Title: Drilling / Well Intervention Subsea Advisor III – Senior Position
Location: Offshore, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time
Main Functions
- Comment and provide advice on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team’s goals, objectives, and procedures.
- Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.
- In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Company representative for interfacing with subsea tree, hangers, and wellhead interfacing and subsea pressure control equipment (e.g., subsea BOPs, SSTT, CWOR, LWI) for subsea drilling, completion, and/or well interventions during planning and execution phases.
- Lead in coordinating surface integrity tests (SITs), witnessing any recertification, factory acceptance and extended factory acceptance testing (FAT / EFAT).
- Coordinating subsea equipment & ROV aspects of drilling, completions, and/or well intervention risk assessments
- Prepare brownfield survey and subsea equipment (e.g., trees, hangers, wellheads, subsea BOPs, SSTT / landing strings, CWOR, LWI) deployment and retrieval procedures, ROV tooling and related procedures.
- Monitor subsea equipment service provider, ROV service provider, provide project management support and troubleshooting of subsea pressure control equipment issues
Skills And Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Previous experience in a closely related position
- Extensive knowledge of In-depth understanding of subsea completion, workover and light well intervention units (e.g. semi submersibles, jack ups and multipurpose vessels)
- Develops / manages project interfaces (e.g. subsea simultaneous drilling and production procedures, interfaces with other subsea systems)
- Keeps abreast of subsea completions and workover techniques and technology progress within EM and industry, applies emerging technology and practices where appropriate and can use Tech Set applications effectively
- Experienced in the areas of subsea system hydraulic modeling, well surveillance, well testing operations, multiphase metering, subsea production / artificial lift optimization (e.g. subsea booster pumps, gas lift and riser lift) and flow assurance

Job Title: Drilling Project OI Advisor – Senior Position

Main Functions
- The Drilling Offshore Installation (OI) Project Advisor is responsible for supporting drilling operations regarding Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) issues.
- The Advisor serves as a contact for SSHE issues related to Drilling Project-based activities, executing initiatives, developing and executing programs/plans, and responding to requests and questions from the drill team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide Company SSHE representation for the project, in addition to rig sites and rig move and transport operations ensuring full communication of concerns, activities and initiatives
- Develop and maintain site orientation/induction program
- Develop programs, plans, initiatives, e.g. Operations SSHE Plan, Drill Team SSHE Leadership Forums, Site Stewardship Plans, Emergency Management Plan, etc.
- Monitor contractor/service partner compliance with all Company Drilling SSHE requirements and specifically the Drill Team/Rig “Operations Safety Plan”, advising contractor/service partner and Operations Superintendents of SSHE issues
- Conduct oi System (oi) Compliance audits
- Provide support to rig sites/locations in the event of an incident with regards to reporting, advice on mitigation and prevention methods, etc.
- Develop and maintain safety related training for contractor work crews
- Facilitate regular SSHE inspection, assessments and audit on-site in accordance with established Company SSHE programs or as requested by the site team
- Monitor the safety performance of the sites and report non-conformances
- Monitor Company safety awareness, recognition and incentive programs
- Review and coordinate site contractor’s SSHE plans
- Participate as required in investigation and follow-up of incidents/accidents
- Facilitate the Drill Team SSHE safety steering committees
- Identify trends to develop programs and/or initiatives to promote an injury free work environment
- Conduct rig inspections with Operations Superintendent and Rig Safety Advisor
- Continually bring to the forefront of all employees, the Company Vision and how it can be achieved
- Attend all Drill Team daily/weekly SSHE meetings
- Relentlessly, aggressively, and proactively address any safety trends and/or safety issues that poses or could pose a risk to the workface.

Job Description
- Represents the company on a rig site to support the safe and efficient execution of well plans. Is the primary contact for rig and third party personnel to ensure logistics for personnel, equipment and services are appropriately organized and managed.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for communicating expectations regarding safety, security, health, and environment; provides guidance and supports managing Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) events.
- Responsible for communicating oi Systems (oi System (oi) ) expectations on the rig site.
- Monitors rig operations to provide feedback and input to the rig contractor to ensure well control procedures are properly followed and emergency situations are appropriately managed.
- Responsible for ensuring that safety, operational, environmental, security and other drills are conducted on site at specified frequencies.
- Responsible for ensuring drilling and completion procedures are followed as approved and utilizes management of change processes if changes are required.
- Orders and organizes logistics for services and equipment necessary to conduct drilling and completion operations efficiently.
- Supports onsite surveillance requirements for the operation in areas such as kick detection, abnormal pressure detection, torque & drag, mud properties, and solids control efficiency.
- Responsible for generation of accurate and adequate operations reports.
- Interfaces with engineering and geology to ensure understanding of well objectives and procedural requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in rig supervisory or rig leadership roles for drilling and completion operations.
- Experience working for a major Operator or Drilling Contractor.
- Hold current certification for Well Control
