We are currently building an intra-Africa and China-Africa service network to support air, road and sea transportation with the aim to be the leading diversified integrated logistics solution provider between China and Africa. Speedaf offers a variety of products and services with value added service to cover different business or personal scenarios for our customers. Since our launch, Speedaf has continued to expand its global network, developing products, improving customer experience, and introducing IT technologies and equipment to realize automatic operations

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Finance Supervisor

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • Oversees a team of finance professionals, interprets financial data, and helps develop strategic financial goals for the company, while also ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

  • Prepare daily and weekly receipts and sending of sales reports.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly debtors’ list and schedules.
  • To be a business partner with business leaders and functional stakeholders in driving financial performance.
  • Own, manage and standardize key business and financial processes such as the working capital, month end closing, financial analysis and forecasts and drive results in financial statements.
  • Collection and posting of WHT credit notes and WHT receipted.
  • Regular follow up of outstanding WHT credit notes.
  • Collating data and preparing of invoices.
  • Providing in-depth analysis to support decision-making
  • Drive business performance and strategy.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customers’ queries.
  • Creation and maintaining of Customers GL on SAP.
  • Ensuring up-to-date accounts receivable ledgers and journals.
  • Generating of receivable’s waybills and reconciliation of weights, freight and volumes of businesses transacted.
  • Preparation of revenue analysis on the services provided by the company.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must possess a B.Sc / HND in Accounting or Finance.
  • Must have excellent excel skills.
  • Must have basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Must give timely and accurate data.
  • Must pay attention to details.
  • Must possess good communication skills.
  • Having an accounting professional certification is an added advantage.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly.

Job Title: Clearance Officer

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify specific training needs within different functional areas of firm.
  • Negotiating with vendors and carriers to manage packaging, transportation, and other logistical aspects of shipments.
  • Verify the details of the pre-landed bill of lading every day.
  • Must work with the agent to count the landed bill of lading (sort and count according to the bill of lading to verify the actual landing quantity) after the goods arrive the airport.
  • If the goods land in batches, they must be verified via the POD with the agent, and the POD must be physically present.
  • Follow up the agent’s loading time to ensure that the vehicle is shipped normally. All landed goods need to be loaded and delivered to our warehouse.
  • Ensure that the landed goods must not be left at the airport or the agent’s warehouse.
  • Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and adherence to relevant guidelines.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies, damages, or other issues that may arise during the clearance process.
  • Providing administrative support to the customs function, such as preparing reports and maintaining files.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Must be proficient in international documentation, LC, shipping processes and bill of lading.
  • Previous experience working with customs brokers, forwarders, and international partners.
  • Must have operational knowledge of the ports and government agencies.
  • Must have the ability to handle customs and shipping companies for imports, temporary importation, and exports.
  • Must have knowledge of proper clearing and haulage documentation for imports.
  • Must be proficient in excel

Salary
N150,000 – N180,000 / Month.

Job Description

  • Raising of payment vouchers
  • Vetting of supporting documents for expense reimbursement.
  • Operation of petty cash management.
  • Postings of transactions on SAP such as trip cost, other payments, petty cash, and purchase of fuel, etc.
  • Posting bank statement transactions on SAP for the monthly report.
  • Assisting the manager with the month-end closing report.
  • Filling out documents.
  • Monthly update on fixed asset schedule.
  • Prepaid expenses schedule management.
  • Reconciliation on excel and SAPfor transparency
  • Clearing of monthly customer balances on SAP.
  • Other duties assigned from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience as a Cashier/ Account Payable Officer
  • Must have basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Must give timely and accurate data.
  • Must pay attention to details.
  • Must possess good communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in excel.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Having an accounting professional certification is an added advantage.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
