Job Description
- SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for DCS Engineer to join its work force in Nigeria to perform condition monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of Control Systems, IT and communication systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform software maintenance of all relevant systems
- Assist with instrument maintenance and calibration functions
- Administrate Control Systems, Information Technology and communication systems modifications requests under management of change procedure
- Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts for Control Systems, Information Technology and communication systems
- Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance activities
- Liaise with Control Systems service provider and onshore Electrical & Instrument and Information Technology support
- Follow system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his
responsibilities Familiar with the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Prepare required reports - Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively
- Is responsible for the implementation of all OT Cyber-security measures onboard the FPSO.
Profile
- Experience in F&G monitoring systems
- Experience in Subsea control systems would be preferred
- Basic understanding of system architecture and networks
- Experience in PLC, Allen Bradley, Siemens, ladder logic systems etc. plus related communication interfaces and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) – and all Machine Monitoring Systems (Bentley Nevada) including GE System 1.

Key Responsibilities
- Specialize in the Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Transmission and Radio devices including microwave and radio devices like Aviat Eclipse, Harris Truepoint, Airspan, Alvarion, Motorola VHF/UHF Analog and Digital Trunks, Tait UHF Trunk, Etelm Tetra (& other Tetra OEMs), VHF Marine/Aero etc.
- Resolution of incidents related to Transmission and Radio devices including microwave link issues and service availability for Aviat Eclipse, Harris Truepoint, Airspan, Motorola VHF/UHF Analog and Digital Trunks, Tait UHF Trunk, Etelm Tetra (& other Tetra OEMs), VHF Marine/Aero etc.
- Perform installations, maintenance and operations considered to be ‘Work at Height’ under HSE rules.
- Work with a support/field engineer for equipment corrective maintenance
- Work with a support/field engineer for equipment preventive maintenance
- Installation of equipment under the supervision of a support engineer
- Carry out equipment installations on all COMPANY Masts and tower in all location onshore and offshore when need be
- Work with 3rd Party SERVICE providers for all installations to be done on COMPANY masts and towers
- Implementation of equipment relocation and equipment moves under the supervision of a support engineer
- Implementation of any other technical duty as may be assigned by the CNM, SSE, SPE or Company
- Carry out 1st level intervention on the equipment in the Total Village Emergency Management Team (EMT) room, and escalate problems to the relevant Telecom section for corrective maintenance action(s)
- Carry out routine checks and tests, as scheduled by the COMPANY, on the Telecom equipment in the Total Village Emergency Management Team (EMT) room
- The technician(s) assigned to the Total Village residential site shall function as the Telecom representative at the location
- Work with a support engineer for equipment corrective maintenance
- Work with a support engineer for equipment preventive maintenance
- Installation of equipment under the supervision of a support engineer
- Implementation of equipment relocation and equipment moves under the supervision of a support engineer
- Implementation of any other technical duty as may be assigned by the CNM , SSE, SPE or Company
- Provide onsite maintenance support for the Total Village site.

Job Title: Telecom Design Engineer

- Ensure system design meets Oil & Gas security & Safety standards, hazardous area classifications (ATEX, IECEx), and environmental protection ratings (IP/NEMA).
- Prepare technical specifications for procurement of CCTV/ACS/Data Network Telephony/PAGA hardware, software, and accessories.
- Develop installation drawings and cable routing plans (tray, conduit, and underground routes).
- Generate as-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals.
- Produce FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) procedures.
