Job Title: Security Operations Specialist

About the Job
- The role holder will be responsible for implementing and executing security strategies under the guidance of the Plant Security Operations Manager, in alignment with both Group and Local NBC guidelines, as well as local regulations and legal requirements.
- The role holder will ensure the safety and security of personnel, safeguard company assets, and maintain a secure work environment to support staff and business operations across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily field operations of contractor security staff within NBC facilities under the AOR (Ikeja Plant A, B, Ikeja C, Mushin, Otta Concentrate Warehouse, and Otta DC) as per the Plant Security Operations Manager’s (SOM) instructions.
- Conduct regular visits to NBC plants and depots within the AOR, covering different shifts, including night and weekend operations, to oversee security activities.
- Monitor and track notifications of security and safety incidents, escalating issues as needed.
- Investigate security and safety incidents and address police concerns when instructed.
- Ensure proper conduct and behavior of security operatives at NBC sites.
- Coordinate security awareness and induction trainings for new staff and third-party logistics (3PL) personnel at NBC sites.
- Deliver training sessions to contract security guards to enhance job-related knowledge and skills.
- Support the recovery processes of Coca-Cola equipment (CDE).

- Cost Analysis, Savings and Budgeting Reports: Develop detailed reports outlining cost breakdowns, savings opportunities, and other relevant reports for proper budgeting within the team
- Supplier Performance Assessment: analyze supplier performance metrics (e.g., delivery times, quality, compliance) and provide recommendations for supplier development or change
- Contract Compliance and Risk Reporting: Monitor supplier contract compliance, identify risks and propose mitigation actions
- Procurement Communication: Collate and prepare procurement insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders, such as supply chain managers, finance teams, and senior leadership, to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
