Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job summary

  • The Store Keeper is responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling inventory in a store, warehouse, or stockroom to ensure smooth operations and prevent losses.

Key Responsibilities
Receiving Goods:

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials or products
  • Check quantity and quality against delivery notes or invoices

Stock Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of stock (manual or computerized)
  • Update stock cards, bin cards, or inventory software
  • Monitor stock levels and report low stock

Storage & Organization:

  • Arrange items properly for easy identification and access
  • Ensure proper labeling and safe storage conditions
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) method where applicable.

Issuing Materials:

  • Issue items only with proper authorization
  • Record all issued items accurately.

Inventory Control:

  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits
  • dentify and report damaged, expired, or missing items.

Security & Safety:

  • Prevent theft, loss, or damage of goods
  • Ensure store cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.

Reporting:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports
  • Work closely with procurement, accounts, and management.

Requirements

  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, inventory systems)
  • Good record-keeping and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic numeracy and calculation skills.

Salary
N60,000 – N80,000 per month.

  • The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and institutional customers.
  • Whereslng, the role focuses on increasing volume, opening new markets, improving product visibility, and supporting revenue growth for both retail and wholesale channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new retailers, wholesalers, and distributors
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase soup and garri sales
  • Manage relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, and supply agreements
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
  • Coordinate with marketing teams on promotions and product launches
  • Ensure product availability and proper shelf placement
  • Collect market feedback and report customer needs to management
  • Track sales performance against targets
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales and growth report.
