Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer – Preconstruction & Proposal Development

Location: Nigeria

Role Overview

  • The HVAC Engineer is responsible for leading the technical response efforts for Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposals, and detailed mechanical construction packages.
  • The role prepares HVAC system designs, engineering calculations, bill of materials, technical narratives, drawings, cost inputs, and compliance documents required to submit complete and competitive proposal packages.
  • The ideal candidate is skilled in both HVAC engineering and construction estimating workflows.
  • This position works closely with estimators, project managers, and executive leadership to create accurate, high-quality proposals that increase SMC Mechanical’s win rate and ensure engineering alignment with field execution.

Key Responsibilities
ITB, RFP, and Proposal Response Preparation:

  • Review bid documents, drawings, addendums, specifications, and scope narratives from general contractors.
