Tractrac MSL is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Tutor

Location: Remote
Contract Type: Short Term

Job Overview

  • We are seeking reliable, qualified, and experienced tutors to provide remote academic support for three children living in the United Kingdom. Tutors may apply for one or more subjects based on their academic background and teaching experience.

Levels Being Tutored

  • Year 10 (SS1 equivalent)
  • Year 8 (JSS2 equivalent)
  • Year 6 (Primary 6 equivalent).

Subjects

  • Mathematics (Compulsory)
  • Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
  • Music
  • Mandarin
  • Igbo Language
  • Programming Languages (HTML, CSS, Python).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deliver well-structured, engaging and age-appropriate online lessons tailored to each child’s level.
  • Prepare weekly academic lesson plans for each child.
  • Provide assignments, practice questions and periodic assessments.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents.
  • Maintain consistent communication and punctuality.
  • Use digital tools to enhance learning effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure active and strong Internet Connection during lessons.

Requirements

  • Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the chosen field or a similar field.
  • Demonstrate teaching experience in the chosen subject(s).
  • Ability to teach remotely using Zoom, Google Meet, and similar platforms
  • Excellent and Consistent Communication Skills, and strong command of English.
  • Patience and ability to adapt to teaching methods for different age groups.
  • Maintain Professionalism, Confidentiality, and appropriate safeguarding at all times.
  • Access to a laptop/desktop with a webcam and reliable internet.

Schedule and Availability:

  • Tutoring schedules will be fixed based on each child’s timetable and availability. All sessions will be conducted according to UK time.

Compensation
Compensation is based on experience, subject area, and weekly teaching hours.
